I know what you are probably thinking, I joined Natalya and Nikita's pack. But no I didn't, I met their Alpha Jayden he was kind and understanding, he also offered me to stay in his pack. I couldn't, for some reason I kindly denied the offer and left.

I didn't leave alone, Natalya wanted to tag along and she wasn't taking a no for an answer. Nikita on the other hand didn't want to. She found her mate Beau and those two looked so happy together that it hurt me that my mate couldn't accept me for who I am.

Well anyway, it's just me and Natalya. I went shopping and bout an entire new wardrobe to fit my new figure. I mean I wasn't fat nor skinny before I was average but now I am proud to say I look 10 no 1000 times better than Stacey and her followers.

It has been a 3 years since Lya and I left the Rhine territory and we have a new home in Florida. We were far enough from my old pack in California and Natalya's pack in Colorado.

We live in a double story house with 4 bedrooms, 2 master and the others regular with 2 bathrooms and 1 study. Natalya turned one of the rooms into a wardrobe and makeup room and the other is a play room. You will understand why later.

She turned the basement into a den with a mini bar. We own 2 cars and dog. Yep you heard right a dog, whose name is Max. He is one cute tiny husky pup. Oh and I also have a son. No I didn't get pregnant. I found him when we ran down here. He was following us because he didn't want to stay in the woods alone anymore.

Lya cried at his story, it also brought tears to my eyes. He lost his parent when he was a baby and has lived in an orphanage but he escaped 2 days ago and was extremely hungry. His name is Ashton and he is 5 now, we found him when he was only 2 years old. He considers me his mum since I found him and Lya his aunt.

Ashton has black short hair, ocean blue eyes, olive skin tone and is about 2ft tall. He has the cutest smile with deep dimples and when he is sleepy it's the most adorable thing I have ever seen.

I heard singing downstairs, that's Natalya and Ash. I learned her morning routine in the past 2 years. First she would wake up and make her bed, then she will have a shower etc. and then take 20 minutes deciding on an outfit for her and Ashton then go down to make breakfast. And let me tell you this, her breakfast is like eating on cloud 9.

"Morning Lya" As time went on we decided to give each other nicknames, so now I call her Lya (pronounced Lee-a) and she calls me Red.

"Morning Red" she sings. During the week I would get a different type of breakfast, during the weekdays I would get healthy but delicious breakfast of eggs, toast, fruit and orange juice. And on week-ends I would get sugary breakfast, yum. I would have 3 different types of pancakes maple, choc-chip and plain, with waffles and cold flavored milk.

"Morning mum!" Pipes up my little Ash. I run over to him and place a big kiss on his cheek while squeezing the life out of him.

"Good morning my little angel" He giggles and wraps his tiny arms around my neck.

"Here you go Red, and Asher" Lya winked as she placed down a plate of our weekend breakfast. I share my breakfast with Ash, he likes to feed me his pizza sliced pancake, its so cute and I would feed him back animal shaped pancakes that i would cut up.

"Thanks Lya" I replied and placed Ash on my lap. Lya sat opposite me and began eating too. It was comfortable silence but then we heard a knock at the door.

Lya opened the door only to see Serena's figure who is a lone wolf like me, Ash and Lya. The past 3 years I have been training hard to be a good fighter just in case our home was being attacked by bad rogues.

I am really good, I am flexible, have fast reflexes and sensitive senses which is good for when being attacked. I have taken down 2 rogue packs last year because they kidnapped my baby Ashton. Neither me or my wolf took kindly to that, now I am known as the shadow wolf.

Some stupid wolf witnessed me take out his pack of 40 in under 20 minutes and spread a rumour that I was the strongest, stealthiest and fastest wolf ever and now all of the wolf population is afraid if me or shall I say the shadow wolf.

Only Lya, Ashton and my new friend Serena who trained me know about my secret, and I intend to keep it that way.

"Hey Scar, there is a pack in the west that need a little help with rogues, so I'm heading up there to help. I was thinking if you could tag along it will be much appreciated" Serena asked. Serena is beautiful with her long blond hair, bright green eyes and full pink lips and she is 5ft7. Serena is the loyal, quiet, honest type of person. She has a lot of personalities that vary from her mood.

"That's a wonderful idea we should go" Lya interrupted us.

"Do you want to go Ashton?" I asked him. I never leave anywhere without asking Ashton, for some reason I feel like I can't bare it if he is hurt or upset.

"Let's go mummy! I think it will be fun" he piped up as he played with my hair.

"Do you want to go Max?" Ash asked our puppy, Max just barked and wagged his tail. We all laughed and agreed to leave.

"When do we leave?" I ask Serena who smiled at Ash. He considers Serena his big sister as Serena is 18 and I am 19 and Lya is 19 but a couple months older than me.

"Tonight" was Serena's curt reply.
