Rejected, Regreted and now Wanted?

Phase 1: Find out the problem

Ashton's P.O.V

Dinner was quiet and a little awkward. Lya kept stabbing her lasagna with a pout and mumbling stuff I couldn't hear properly, sis was quiet and ate her lasagna slowly, mamma was confused about all the tension at the table but sat quietly and me, well i was plotting how to find out why sis hates Mason.

I also noticed mamma giving them the cold shoulder. I sighed because my head began to hurt from all this thinking. I finished the last of my lasagna and licked the plate clean, i felt someone smack me upside the head. I put the plate down and looked at sis accusingly who just cut a slice of her lasagna and put it in her mouth as if she didn't know anything. 

I grabbed my glass of water, stood on my chair and tipped it over sissy's head. I laughed as she sat there with her mouth and eyes wide open. Mamma and Lya busted out laughing so hard that they both fell back on their chairs. I giggled watching mamma and Lya trying to contain there laughter as sissy's eyes narrowed at them before facing me.

"Ahaha hey sis!" I laughed nervously. Last time I did that to her she dangled me upside down from a balcony. Momma wasn't too happy about that but sissy is stronger than momma so momma couldn't do anything. 

Sissy's bangs covered half her eyes and an evil smirk tugged at her lips. I gulped audiably and jumped off the chair. In mid-air i felt sissy arm snake around my waist and I felt the world turn 90 degrees. 

"Let me go! You started it!" I yelled pushing at sissy arm wiggling as she carried me like a plank. 

"Nu-uh can you prove it?" Sissy said as she made her way out of the kitchen leaving momma and Lya to clean up. This was a daily routine and I had a feeling I would be regretting dumping water on sissy.

"Sissyyyy!" I groaned kicking my legs and licking her arm to gross her out, it works with Lya. 

Sissy turned the corner passing "Big bad alpha" as Lya likes to call him, Mason and his brothers along with severel girls clinging to their arms. Mason had a pretty girl beside him and was holding onto her. 

What the flapjacks? I thought he said sissy was his mate. I felt sissy's arm tighten around my waist and her nails digging into my shirt. I didn't mind it wasn't hurting me, I stopped struggling and looked up to see Mason looking at sissy. I wanted to ask him who is the girl but sissy walked straight past them ignoring them. 

"Sissy?" I asked as she lowered me to the ground and practically sprinted upstairs. I felt bad for my sister. What the hell Mason? I'm trying to help you! I yelled frustrated in my head. I already know what sissy is probably doing, calling her best friend Richard. Richard is sissy's best friend and trainer, back in Florida those always were together.

I ran back to momma hopping maybe she could tell what's wrong with sissy and Mason. I opened the kitchen door and saw everyone in the kitchen was silent. Momma and Lya were cleaning up the lasagne and Mason, three other people, the alpha and their dates were standing there awkwardly looking at the food. I looked over at Mason who kept trying to pull his arm out of the girls grasp but gave up.

Time for a new plan Ashton Knights. I grinned and ran to the table with a fake frown on my face, momma looked up and Lya well she was looking at one of the guys in the group.

"Ash?" Momma asked.

"Momma sissy kicked me out of the room. She's probably talking to her oh so charming boyfriend Richard." I huffed and crossed my arms. In the corner of my eyes I saw Mason stiffen and glare, yes!!!

"Oh honey, it's ok. Lya can play with you." Momma said and pointed to Lya who sat there smiling half heartedly at me. I don't like this, the people I love have changed ever since we came here.

"Yeah, c'mon buddy we don't need Serena and her charming boyfriend." Lya said dusting her pants off and held out her hand. I sighed in relief, thank the lord that Lya called Richard Serena's boyfriend, or else I wold have been screwed.

"Fine, but after we play I'm going to talk to Richard. I mean seriously sissy way to ditch family for friends." I grabbed Lya's hand and we walked out of the kitchen leaving momma behind who was grinning and putting the rest of the lasagne away.

As soon as Lya and I were far away from the kitchen Lya turned around faced me grinning.

"What?" I said.

"What are you up to?" Lya asked accusingly. Crap no!! She can't find out coz she will tell sissy.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I lied and tried to walk away but Lya stepped in front of me.

"No? Hmm ok what's with calling Richard Serena's boyfriend? You've never done it before." She asked.

"I just felt like describing him like that." I said.

"Ashton Knights are you lying to me?" Lya asked raising her eyebrow. I gulped, what now?

"Uhh- I..." I stuttered and Lya just stared at me. "Yes mam." I said in defeat.

"Tell me the truth now." She said, and just like that I told her everything.

"Ahhh Serena found her mate too?" Lya squealed before slapping a hand over her mouth. I looked up shocked and then momma happened.

"What do you mean Serena found her mate too?" Momma's voice joined the conversation. Lya stiffened and I turned around surprised.

"What nothing she was just coughing." I quickly covered up and patted Lya on the back really hard. She jolted forward and then glared in my direction.

"Oh please I wasn't born yesterday now spill." Momma doesn't have power behind her words unlike sissy but she is intimidating.

"Yes mam." And I ended up spilling my guts again. At the and of my confession and aunty Lya's momma was speechless.

She stepped towards Lya and smacked her upside the head.

"You idiot, did you think I would keep you from your mate? Oh and his name is Hunter." Momma smiled and hugged Lya who looked like she was going to explode.

"What about Serena?" Lya asked.

"We continue with Mission Impossible but this time all three of us will help Mason and Serena. Oh and you and Hunter." Momma instructed.

"Thanks Red." Lya said grinning.

"Woohoo we need a team name!! I personally like the name Ashton and the extras." I said.

"No." Momma and Lya said simultaneously. They looked at each other and started giggling, I on the other hand feel offended.
