the night before, after their training session, amelia had asked imogen to help her dye her hair. both girls settled on dark brown as both girls thought it suited her skin color more. amelia waited in the courtyard for her older brothers to arrive, in just an hour all of the elsher siblings would be together.
" i still can't believe how good you look with brown hair " maeve looked at amelia, her and the others were waiting to meet luke and noah before heading towards their stations for the parapet.
" i told you it look good " imogen smirked at amelia who shook her head.
two familiar dragons sat on the wall, which told amelia that her older brothers should walk into the courtyard at any moment. celeste had joined them as two blonds approached fourth wing. " what's up little sister " luke smiled at amelia.
the two brothers hugged their little sister as noah turned his attention to violet, he smiled seeing her alive as he was afraid amelia wouldn't be able to keep her alive by herself. dain wasn't much help.
" violet, it's nice seeing you alive " noah hugged her, he and luke became older brothers to her and mira after they believed that brennan had died.
luke followed the hug as well, violet just smiled as amelia turned to her wing. " guys, these are my older brothers. luke and noah elsher " she smiled as everyone began to introduce themselves.
even imogen and bodhi did, just so people wouldn't question. " we have stations to get to before dain has a damn cow " rhiannon looked at everyone who had to be on the parapet when the protentional first-years crossed.
" we have formation as well. we'll meet caleb and you afterwards " luke smiled at amelia and ruffled her hair. everyone had gone their separate ways as amelia waited in the courtyard.
she wanted to be the first one to greet caleb as he walked through the entrance of the courtyard, amelia hadn't seen her brother in a year. after she had left for the quadrant, he had continued training closer to the quadrant and they couldn't write to each other.
" i see younger elsher, he looks strong " celeste had taken off from the wall earlier and was flying around the entrance of the college.
" make sure he's safe " amelia sighed as she sat down on one of the benches.

an hour and thirty minutes have passed, new first-years were pouring into the quadrant as amelia nervously waited for her brother. luke and noah were already getting in formation with other generals and colonels, including their father.
she looked around and noticed a familiar face. he had sandy-brown hair and green eyes that stood out amongst everyone, she couldn't believe that he was here. amelia grabbed his arm and pulled him away from the crowd of first-years who were walking in.
