With a red ribbon tied around my heart
A constant pull as you tug the string
Bringing the red on my face as you constantly see through my lies
And smiling and acting all smug while doing so
I will never know about how you see me like a clear crystal
And I feel like dying and crawling up into the corner
Tears fill my eyes as my failures and betrayals swallow me whole
Only for you to reach out your hand
So I dish out my problems and tears onto a plate
You'll just listen, nothing more
You won't judge
And somehow you remember more than I do
With a red ribbon tied around my heart
I refuse to release my love with you knowing
Then you let go of the string and my pulse goes cold
As I look back on our fights, I wondered about our what ifs
But it's not a problem we can't work on!
Besides it's all joke anyways, you never meant such things
I know that for sure and I'm sure of that
So please keep pulling that string
I know I'm not your ideal type of girl and I have tons of flaws
But I'll work on all of that and you'll shine along with me
This love is long old but it's still is strong as ever
Even if you let go of the string, it'll last for a lifetime
