the morning after the kiss, sienna barely got through the door before elise and marianna pounced.

"what happened?!" elise shrieked, launching herself at sienna with the force of someone who had been waiting for this moment. "did he kiss you? did you kiss him? did he profess his undying love while the rain poured down dramatically around you?—oh my god, look at her, mari. she's smiling. she never smiles like that."

marianna, still wrapped up in a blanket like a human burrito, blinked at sienna like she was trying to process the information. she squinted, tilting her head. "...wait. you are smiling. since when do you wake up looking like you just stepped out of a romance novel?"

sienna groaned, tossing her phone onto the counter and putting on her fluffy slippers. "can i at least shower before you two start yelling in my face?"

"no." elise and mari said in perfect unison.

elise grabbed sienna's shoulders, shaking her lightly. "tell me everything, right now, or i swear to god, i will ruin you."

mari yawned, stretching lazily. "seconded."

sienna sighed dramatically, trying to act annoyed, but the truth was—she wanted to tell them. she needed to talk about it, because her heart was still racing, still caught in the moment of last night, still replaying the way matt touched her, looked at her, kissed her.

but before she could even open her mouth— "just talk!" elise shook her harder, looking fully unhinged.

sienna burst into laughter, her face hurting from how much she had been smiling since last night. "oh my god, calm down! okay, okay, so—"
