She was standing in the bathroom, staring at her reflection. She pulled her t-shirt off and turned, examining her side where a large dark purple bruise had formed right below the bottom of her bra. At least it was the only bruise that formed. She sighed, she hated the way bruises looked against her pale skin, just another one of her many imperfections.

The bathroom door opened and Michael poked his head inside.

"Michael!" She squealed, quickly covering herself with her arms and he laughed lightly.

"Chill. I was just checking on you." He said stepping inside, shutting the door behind him.

"You scared me." She said, keeping herself covered.

"I didn't mean to, how's your side?" He asked and she uncovered herself and showed him. He pressed his finger tips to the bruise and she winced. He took his hand away quickly. "Sorry." He said quickly.

"It's fine." She said, wrapping her arms around her stomach.

"You okay?" he asked and she shrugged.

"Yes, no, maybe, I don't know. So much has happened, it's just stressful." she said.

"I know angel, but look on the bright side," he started, moving her arms from around her stomach to around his neck and rested his hands on her hips, and kissed her lightly on the cheek. "Soon you'll be out of here in a new house, new school, you'll have a new start and everything will be okay, I'll be waiting in the room for you." he said opening the bathroom door before turning to her again, grinning cheekily. "That bra looks good on you by the way." he said and she glared at him.

"Michael!" she said, her cheeks turning red from embarrassment before slamming the door in his face and she heard him laughing to himself on the outside. She pulled her shirt back on and went back to her bedroom where Michael was waiting for her, laying on his side.

She lied down beside him and moved to where his arm was resting on her shoulder and their faces were only a couple of inches apart. (Like in the gif ^^) He shifted so his other arm was on her back and hooked one of his legs around hers and her body was pressed against him. He pressed his lips against hers, and she relaxed into the kiss. Their lips moved in sync, but what started out slow and passionate turned needy and desperate. He ended up straddling her, deepening the kiss.  He took her bottom lip between his teeth, biting it lightly. She gripped the fabric of his shirt tightly in her hands as he ran his hands up and down her body. Though after several minutes of the aggressive make out session, Astrid pulled away and Michael settled down back beside her in the position they were previously in.

"I love this." He said. "Being like this, holding you close, listening to your fast heart beat, knowing that as long as you're here right beside me you're safe and I can't get enough of that."

"Me too." She said, sighing contently. "I love you."

"I love you too angel. I never thought it was possible." he said.

"What was possible?" she asked and he just smiled at her.

"Being loved by someone. I never had that, even when I was alive. It's amazing." he said.

"Same for me, I mean yeah there's Luke, but there's a difference between family love and this." she replied. "Can I ask you something?" she asked.

"Of course you can. What is it?" he asked.

"When you were alive and you went to my school, did you love anyone?" she asked and he sighed.

"I did. She was so pretty, but she never even gave me a second glance. We'd pass by each other in the hallway and she'd keep her eyes focused on the floor in front of her hugging her books tightly to her chest, I thought she was so adorable. She was really shy and I always wanted to approach her, but I was always afraid to." he said.

"Who was it?" she asked, slightly jealous of the girl he had liked before her.

"It doesn't matter. She didn't know that I existed, don't worry about it, it's in the past. I have you now, and you're all I will ever need." he told her and she smiled before she buried her face in the crook of his neck, letting the feeling of him playing with her hair lull her to sleep.

When she finally woke up, it was dark outside and she shot up. Looking around.

"What time is it?" she asked and Michael glanced at her phone.

"Eight o'clock." he said.

"I'm starving." she said.

"Then go get food." he replied and she groaned.

"But the fridge is all the way down stairs." she said whining.

"So, don't be lazy." he said poking her cheek.

"Don't poke my cheek, and I'll be as lazy as I want to be." she said swatting at his hand. "I'll just order pizza." she said.

"I will poke your cheek if I want to, and you realize that you have to walk downstairs to get the pizza right?" he asked and she sighed.

"Then will you carry me down stairs?" she asked and he rolled his eyes at her.

"No." he said bluntly.

"Fine be that way then...maybe the pizza guy can just bring it upstairs to me." she said and he hit her with a pillow.

"Jesus you're stubborn." he said.

"Right back at you." she said and he rolled his eyes.

"You're so weird."

"I know. I'm going to order my dinner now." She said dialing the number and ordering. "And now I wait."

After about thirty minutes, her dinner still hadn't arrived and she started getting irritated.

"How hard is it to make a pizza and drive a stupid car to a house and deliver it ?" She asked.

"Calm down, maybe there's traffic." He suggested and she rolled her eyes.

"Mhm sure." She said. Though not long after the door bell rang and she jumped up excitedly. "I'll be right back." She said.

She quickly ran down the stairs, nearly tripping on the last step as the door bell rang again. "I'm coming, I'm coming!" She shouted and opened the door before the bell could ring again and to her surprise and dismay, she saw the last person she wanted to see.

"Surprise bitch." He said before everything went black.
