I can't believe you

Emma-

"Emma,shhhhh. It's ok. It was just a dream. shhhhh." I woke up shaking and crying uncontrollably.

As soon as I saw Hayes,I hugged him so tight.

"What happened??" He asked me.

"You thought that it was your fault for why I was in the hospital so you ran in front of a car and you died during surgery. It seemed so real Hayes." He hugged me and let me cry in his chest.

"Well I'm here and I'm not going anywhere."

Hayes-

We just sat there hugging each other until we heard a knock on the door.

The doctor walked in and told us that Emma was free to leave because all she had was a bruised rib that the doctor said would be healed by tomorrow if she iced it all night.

We took care of a few things and then drove back to the bus in Shawn's car.

When we arrived,everyone ran up to Emma and started hugging her and all that jazz. I just walked up to the guys' room and flopped down on my bed.

I was almost asleep when all of a sudden Trevor jumps on me yelling at me to get up. I throw my pillow at him but he just pulls my arm which into turn makes me sit up and then he pulls me up and out of the room.

We go into the game room and everyone is sitting there.

"Hayesssssss." Nash says.

"What?" I say a little annoyed because I was exhausted and they decided to keep me up.

"Chill dude. We need to talk to you about something." Nash says.

"Sorry guys. I'm just exhausted and I wanted to sleep."

"It's alright,but we just wanted to tell you that we're having a birthday party for you tomorrow and we wanted you to know. We're having it at Emma and Jack's house because it's the closet house to us."

"Oh. Ok. Can I go to sleep now?" They just laughed and started talking so I took that as a yes.

I headed back to our room and slipped off my shirt and my pants so I was just in my boxers.

I turned off the light and slipped under my blankets. I was almost asleep again when I heard the door quietly open and close.

"Hayes?" It was Emma. I was too tired to respond so I didn't. A few seconds later I feel Emma climb into bed with me. She snuggles into my chest after she lightly kisses my cheek.

"Goodnight Hayes. I love you." Wait,did she just say she loves me?? She did. Emma just said she loves me.

"I love you too Emma." I say. I feel her smile. I really do love Emma. She's the perfect girl for me and I wouldn't trade her for anyone or anything.

Emma-

I woke up in my bed. I guess we reached my house while I was sleeping and,who I'm guessing was Hayes,carried me up here.

I walked downstairs in my sweats and sweatshirt.

"Well good morning sleeping beauty." I looked at the clock. It was already 2:00!!

"WHY DIDNT YOU GUYS WAKE ME UP?!?!" We were having Hayes' birthday party tonight and I had a ton of things to do. Everyone just looked at me with big eyes. I ran upstairs and hoped in the shower. About 10 minutes later I get our and wrap a towel around me. I head over to my closet to find something to wear.

I finally decided on black high waisted shorts and a flowy maroon tank. I got dressed and went into my bathroom and did my hair and makeup.

I walked downstairs to see everyone cleaning.

"We decided to start cleaning because we felt sorry that we didnt wake you up and we know you had a lot to do so we thought this would help." Liese says. I hugged her and pulled her away from doing the dishes and rushed her upstairs.

"What was that for?" She says giggling.

"I want to fix you up a little bit. You look great already,but I want to do this." She just smiled really big so I got to work.

I have her an outfit exactly like mine then curled her hair and gave her a flower crown to wear. I also perfected the winged eyeliner look and put some red lipstick on her. I finished and she looked in the mirror.

"Emma! I look amazing! Thank you so much!" She turned around and hugged me.

"You're welcome. Now come on. I'm pretty Shawn is going to be starstruck when he sees you." I grabbed her hand and raced down the stairs.

The house was clean and the party decorations were up. Sam and Sammy were setting up the lights around the pool while Connor came rushing in the door carrying cases of alochol with Kian and Cameron following him with even more alcohol. We all knew there was going to be alcohol so I wasn't even worried.

The party started at 9 so we all just sat around talking until peolple started showing up. By 9:10 the house was crowded. We cranked up the music and everyone was dancing. I heard the door bell ring so I headed to the door. I opened it and a girl with long black hair wearing maroon shorts and a white crop top stood there.

"I'm sorry,who are you?" I yelled over the music.

"My name is Jen. I'm Hayes' ex-girlfriend. Sammy invited me." She equally yelled back. Why would Sammy invite Hayes' ex to the party when Hayes is dating me? I need to go talk to him right now.

I let Jen in and went to find Sammy. I found him in the kitchen eating chips.

"Why would you do that Sammy?!?!?"

"I'm guessing you met Jen?" He said shoving another handful of chips in his mouth.

"Uh yeah. Sammy,I'm worried she's going to try to steal Hayes back. I mean she's so much prettier than me and I'm just really no-"

"Emma. Calm down. Trust me,they're both so over each other. They've been broken up for a while. Don't stress ok?" I nodded and he huggged me.

"By the way,you are wayyyyyy prettier than her. I would rather date you than Jen." He winked,grabbed his drink,and walked away.

Sammy and I have grown really close to over the time we've known each other. I can trust him with anything and everything and he gives really good advice.

I wanted to go in the pool but I had to change into my bathing suit so I headed upstairs to put it on. I jogged up the stairs and walked passes Jack's room. The door was cracked open and I saw people in there. I slowly walked back and peeked in.

I felt like throwing up. I felt like crying. I felt like dying. I felt so many things right now. Hayes and Jen were making out in my brother's room. And by the looks of it,things were going to go further.

I ran down the stairs and out the front door. We had a hammock set up on the tree in our front yard. I laid down and just started crying. How could Hayes do this to me? He said he loved me....

"Emma?" It was Sammy. I quickly wiped my tears away and sat up. I avoided looking into his eyes.

"Emma? What's wrong?" He sat down beside me. I just shook my head and looked away,starting to cry again.

"Emma. Look at me." I resisted so he gently turned my head see I was looking at him.

"Oh Emma. This is about Hayes and Jen isn't it? I saw them too. I'm so sorry. I thought they were completely over each other.I guess not. This is all my fault. I never should've invited Jen. I'm so sorry Emma. I fee-" I crashed my lips onto his,cutting him off. And after what I saw,this kiss felt amazing. And maybe I had feeling for Sammy. Ok,I admit. I've always liked Sammy. Even before I met him.
