(Here's an extra chapter, made after us became bored.)
Blader woke up in the middle of a heavily wooded area, his party around him. He remembered having built a machine learned from secret knowledge he had obtained from a strange radio that for some reason existed. He also remembered he and his friends being sucked into a black realm by hands made of shadow. With a cloud of dust a mysterious man wearing a white shirt with red stripes emerged out of nowhere. "Hey pal, you aren't looking so good. You'd better find something to eat before nigh-" Blader jumped up and punched him in the nuts. The man fell onto the floor in pain. "AGH! WHAT THE HELL?" The man yelled in pain, waking the rest of the group. "Okay shut up Mr. Puppet. How long has it been since I last tried to kill you? 2? 4 weeks?" The Puppetmaster overcame the pain and stood up. "I told you, it's The Puppet Master. And no, it's actually been 3 months." "Huh, really? It's really been a while." "Who's this?" Oznerol asked, walking over to the two. "Just an old accomplice of mine." "Alright then." "Anyway, you'd better find something to eat before night comes!" The Puppetmaster poofed away and left the party on their own. "Hey! MR. PUPPET! Get back here!... You still owe me 50 gold!" A shadow hand slapped him across the face. He grabbed it and crushed it with his sword hand. "Alright so... We need to get food, wood, sticks, grass, stone and some gold" Blader said. "Why the gold?" Gene asked. "This." He showed the group his plans for a "Science Machine". "Um... Why do we need that? How about like a magic machine or something?" Stella asked. "Because I believe in SCIENCE!" Blader said, doing half jazz hands. "Alright then." They all split up.
Blader cut down trees LIKE A BOSS by throwing his makeshift axe through a huge crowd of trees like a boomerang, and easily catching his axe. All of the trees fell at once and he quickly began turning the trees into logs and sticks. He brushed the sweat off his forehead and looked at his sizeable pile of wooden items. He wondered how the others were doing.
Oznerol gathered grass and berries also LIKE A BOSS by using his shovel like his scythe and used a magically amplified ring-blade death strike, easily removing all berries and decapitating all grass tufts in the area. He began grabbing all of the items and eventually made a large grass sack for all of the berries. He decided to take a nap near the marker they made for the meeting place.
Naunia dashed as fast as she could as she quickly amassed an entire bag full of bunnies. She also managed to catch a few birds which she also stuffed into the bag. She decided to turn all the animals in the sack into meat in the fastest way she could; she gathered all of the materials she needed to make a bunch of toothpicks and a butcher's knife. She opened the bag and accurately cut all of the animals LIKE A BOSS into bloody cubes of animal flesh. She managed to start a small fire and cooked all of the individual pieces of meat after cleaning them. She poked all of the toothpicks into the pieces of meat. She tried one of the meat cubes and found they were simply delectable.
Stella began picking several flowers that she felt that they could eat. She also decided to make a crown of flowers and put it on. The delightful aroma of the flowers calmed her down after being stranded on an island. She continued to pick and gathered a small bag of petals. She also found a new variety of flowers. She separated them into 2 different bags and began walking back to their small basecamp type area.
Gene walked off and began grabbing plants he discerned as edible as he saw a place resembling a graveyard. He simply couldn't resist. "Those who've fallen and dropped your things, reveal them to me and I shall take it on, all old swords, shields, and rings." The dirt dug up for the body began shaking to bring forth a large collection of multicolored magical gems. He decided to place them all in a small bag. He also gained a collection of different parts which he placed in his own pack. He continued walking until the sun seemed to be hanging lower in the sky, then began walking back to their base.
Lightning Heart began whacking her pickaxe into a collection of large rocks. She only found stone and Nitre however, and gave up hope for golden nuggets hiding within. She decided to go hunting instead. She pulled out a makeshift sword she had made to replace the one she had lost when they appeared in this world. She began cutting through spiders and their nests, taking their silk. Eventually, she came across a long crimson red area. After walking along it for a while, sword ready. She began to notice tall figures watching her just outside of her field of vision. She looked at them and they became hostile, attempting to kill her with shadow hands. She took her sword and jumped over them however, and did flips, cutting the beings in half LIKE A BOSS and creating "Nightmare Fuel". "This stuff is crazy!" She said as she picked it up and moved it around in her hands, it seemed to be solid liquid mix. She stuffed it into a bag and walked back to basecamp, seeing the sun lowering in the horizon.
"AAAGH!" Lani screamed as an army of shadow hands prepared to engulf her in darkness. She thought it was the end. Killed on a deserted island by darkness itself. She huddled up against the rock she had been mining. She had just given up hope when she heard something whipping through the air. She opened her eyes just in time to witness a shoddily built axe slaughter half the army of black hands LIKE A BOSS. She saw the figure that caught the boomerang axe and immediately felt relieved. It was Blader, holding the axe in his hand like his old sword. "Do you like science?" He asked before he charged into the remaining hands. He began slaughtering hand after hand, punching through one's chest, cutting one's fingers off and then slitting it's wrist, unleashing it's black "blood". In just 2 minutes he had effectively killed his way through the crowd of hands. He was soaking in Nightmare Fuel, but it was well worth it. "So, shall we go?" He asked her as he began to take some of the liquid in his hand. "Yeah. What are you covered in?" "Some sort of non-newtonian liquid." He said as he inspected it more closely. "English please?" "It's a liquid that's also solid. Basically it just feels weird in your hands." She nodded as they walked back to base, Blader scraping off the black fluid into a bag he'd made.
"So basically all we need is gold?" Blader asked as he looked at their pile of supplies. "I got one piece!" Lani called out, unearthing a small golden nugget from her clothes. "Well done." Blader took it and immediately began working on the Science Machine. In about 4 minutes he managed to put the entire machine together and working. "It breaks things down into their scientific components." Everyone looked confused. "It tells us what things are made of." Blader dumped his bag of Nightmare Fuel into the machine and looked at it's materials. He walked over to the large pile of supplies and took Stella's small bag of black petals. The scent set him at unease. He took one wood plank he'd made, a top hat he made with silk, and 4 rabbits Lightning Heart had grabbed to keep as pets. "I may believe in science, but magic is useful." He tied the rabbits to the wood plank with some rope, slit their throats (much to Lightning Heart's protest,) and finally nailed the top hat to the top of the wood plank. Lightning randomly struck it and it began whirring. Blader banged it into the ground and placed all the petals into the rabbits' mouths. The rabbits then puked out Nightmare Fuel, despite being dead. Blader captured all of the Nightmare Fuel for a future project. "There. Now you can use magic and I can use science." Blader got to work on building all sorts of things, while the sun dipped deeper and deeper into the horizon.
"It will be night soon, Charlie will be waking up." The Puppetmaster said as he watched the group on his Nightmare Throne, hands and feet bound. A soul of a rather elderly looking man stood behind him. "I'm starting to feel nostalgic here. It feels like it was just yesterday I was watching you do the exact same things on your own." "Do you think they will let the both of us go soon?" "They will let you go as soon as someone releases you and takes your place. It will hurt, but you'll die like me. And then both of us can escape this wretched world." The spirit and The Puppetmaster sat watching the group in silence for 30 minutes until the soul broke the silence with, "He reminds of you." The Puppetmaster smiled. "Do you like science?" The man looked back at the spirit, still smiling, his black hair shot up in a W shape as usual, eyes looking even more tired and strained than when the journey had started. "I prefer magic." The Puppetmaster frowned. "That's not even logical, Maxwell." "I don't really care, Wilson."
