The Date

There I stood waiting for Mitsukuni at the bus stop. I had on a normal boring (c) dress on with a matching hat and a pair of sunglasses. This is the ultimate disguise! Normally I love the attention. But today I just wanted it to be Mitsukuni and I. I smiled at the thought of Mitsukuni. Pull yourself together (y/n)! When I called Mitsukuni the other day he told me that he wanted our date to be a surprise and to just meet him at the bus on (s/n) and (s/n) at 4:00pm. I got here a little early because I was so excited and now all I had to do was wait. But finally I heard, "(Y/n)!" I turned to see Mitsukuni running towards me. He slowed down and stopped right in front of me. "Hey (y/n)-chan!" He said with his usual happy grin. "Hello Mitsukuni." I studied his appearance. He looked so cute in casual clothes. But wait something's off. "Hey where's Usa-chan?" He blushed and look down. "Haru-chan agreed to watch Usa-chan while we went out because I kind of wanted if to be the two of us (y/n)-chan." I also blushed. I could tell how important his bunny is to him and the fact that he left it at home to spend time with me meant a lot. The bus came about a minute later. Mitsukuni grabbed my hand and dragged me on to the bus excitedly. By the state of his house he has probably never been on a bus before. We sat down in a middle row and Mitsukuni sat closest to the window. He was so excited about something as simple as being on a bus I couldn't help but giggle at him. "So are you going to tell me where we are going now?" "Nope." I stuck out my lip and pouted. "Come on." I whined. He shook his head. I sulked in silence and it was his turn to laugh at me. We finally arrived at our stop and Mitsukuni led me out of the bus. "Ta da!" The carnival! I haven't been to a carnival in forever! I look over to Mitsukuni who was shuffling back and forth. Clearly nervous about whether I would like his activity or not. "Let's GO!" I smiled and dragged him to the ticket booth. As soon as we got our tickets we ran into the carnival hand in hand. "What should we do first?!" I asked Mitsukuni full of energy. "How about.." He looked around then pointed. "That!" I looked in the direction he was pointing. It was a booth with a ton of prizes on it. When we approached the booth I could immediately tell what game it was. Ring toss. Mitsukuni handed to tickets to the man and he gave us 3 rings each and explained the rules. 2 tries each and we both failed and the booth owner had a smug look on his face. Of course it was rigged. I threw my last one and failed. But Mitsukuni just stood there. Squinting his eyes and looking at the farthest pole. It looked like he was calculating something. He aimed his last ring and tossed it. It made it! The look of the worker was even better than the prize. He handed a stuffed kitty to Mitsukuni. Who turned and handed it to me. "Here (y/n) chan! It's for you!" I smiled. "Thanks! Now come on let's go make the other booth guys feel stupid." With that we ran off into the distance. About 3 hours later we had gone on 7 rides, played 10 games, won a frog, 2 bunnies, a gigantic panda, 3 teddy bears and the kitty. And let's not forget the crazy sugar high we were on for eating all that carnival food. Right now we just sat at one of the tables they had set up talking, laughing, and eating our 3rd cotton candy for the day. "So you guys dressed up like girls!" "Yea! And for no reason to considering Haru-chan wasn't leaving in the first place." I was laughing my head off. Mitsukuni was telling me all about the host club he was apart of and all their crazy adventures. I bet all those girls are so jealous. They have to share Mitsukuni but I get him all to myself.
