Chapter 4

Essence POV

After the dismal bell rang, I damn near ran to my car. I was rushing to Wendy's to get me somehting to eat. Yeah, I ate lunch, but that shit don't fill me up.

Twenty minutes later, I pulled up in the driveway. I got out of the car, and locked my doors, making sure to turn on the alarm.

I tried to sneak up the stairs with my food so Korey and Khalil wouldn't ask for none. Right when I was about to dash up the stairs, I bumped the side table.

"Essie, we want some," they yelled in unison. Damnit! I just handed them the whole bag, and they took off running towards the kitchen with the food.

I went in my room and went straight to the bathrom. I had to pee so bad. I don't use the bathroom at school. That's just nasty.

When I got out the bathroom, I changed into some workout clothes. I decided to go for a run.

Once I got fully dressed, I grabbed my phone and earbuds, then headed downstairs. "Mom, Dad, I'm going for a run," I yelled towards the kitchen. I didn't wait for a response, I just headed out the door, putting my earbuds in.

I went to my  playlist, and turned my volume all the way up.

I got on the sidewalk and started running.

~10 minutes later~

I've been running for ten minutes straight, and I was in my zone.

When I turned the corner, I saw this tall, mexican guy a couple yards in front of me.

I mentally rolled my eyes. I hope this fool doesn't bother me.

Pablo POV

I was standing on the corner, waiting on Killa, so we can make this drop.

I seen his cutie jogging toawrds me and I decided I was going to try to holla at her.

I saw that she was listening to music, so when she passed by, I grabbed her elbow to stop her.

She looked at me like I was crazy, which made me chuckle.

"Boy what the fuck is wrong with you, don't ever touch me or I'll beat your a-," I cut her off with my charm. "Hey sweetheart, what's your name," I said showing off my pearly whites. "Lay," she said. "Last name," I asked. "My name is Lay as in Lay your hands on me again and I will fuck you up," she said, snatching away from me.

I wasn't about to let shawty get away from me, so I went after her.

I grabbed her and pulled her behind a bush. She immediately started screaming, so I punched her dead in the mouth.

"No please stop," she pleaded, but I didn't care. I continued to hit her until she couldn't say nothing alse.

I ripped her shirt off and unclipped her bra. I then started fondling with her breats.

I slid her pants down, and right when I was about to go in, I heard a gun cock behind me.

Jaiden POV

I was so glad school was over for the day.

I was on my way to meet Pablo, so we can make this quick drop.

When I pulled up on the block, this nigga wasn't even there. This shit pissed me off.

As I rode by, I started looking for him. I stopped looking when I thought I saw something moving behind a bush. I pulled my car over to the side of the road, so I can investigate.

I got out the car and pulled my gun out just in case I had to bust a cap in a nigga's ass.

When I got to the bush, I saw that this nigga was about to rape a girl.

I cocked my gun and pointed it at the back of his head. He stopped real quick.

I took a good look at the girl and saw that it was Essence. My blood immediately started to boil. I'm going to kill this nigga.

He started crawling backwards.

"Please Killa, don't hurt me," he said with pleading eyes. I saw a tear roll down his face,

Too bad I ain't got no mercy for nobody.

I shot five shots into his chest.

I looked at Essence and I saw that she was unconsious, so I picked her up and put her in my car.

When I pulled into my driveway and saw Tracy's 1984 Honda Civic parked on the edge of the yard. I completely forgot that she was stopping by.

As soon as I got Essence out of the car, Tracy ran into me with an attitude on her face.

"Why the fuck do you have this bitch with you," she yelled
