I'll Take Care of You

Tool's POV

It was early Friday morning and I was going to the studio to help out Logan with a new song she was recording. Everything's been going great with her, they actually want me to be her full time manger, I wasn't trying to be anybody's manger but I had good ideas for her and she was a decent client. But I took my shower and got dressed. It was 7:00 am and nobody was awake yet, Miracle had to be at school by 9 am so they won't be up until another hour or so. I looked at my wife peacefully sleeping, she was so beautiful. I went to her side of the bed and kissed her lightly on the cheek.

Me: I love you baby.

I guess my voice woke her up, I was speaking really softly, she's just a light sleeper.

Harmony: Baby, what time is it?

She spoke softly, I could tell she was still half sleep.

Me: It's 7:00, I have to go to the studio. Go back to sleep, kiss Miracle for me.

Harmony: Mhm, okay.

I kissed her on her forehead, telling her goodbye. I walked lightly down the steps, and out the garage to my car. I'd pick up some breakfast or something. After driving for about 2o minutes, I finally made it to the studio. I parked my car and went inside the building. I opened the door and heard Logan singing something, I nodded my head to the beat as I sat down on the couch. A couple seconds later she came out with a smile.

Logan: Oh hey Mr. Castle, I didn't know you were here

Me: Good Morning and I told to just call me Akoye.

Logan: Oh yeah, sorry Akoye

She smiled and stared at me for a couple seconds, it made me uncomfortable.

Me: So was that the new song you were just singing?

Logan: Uh, yeah. I was just trying out some lyrics I wrote.. I'm not sure if they're good.

Me: Let me see them.

She handed me a notebook, the song was titled "Wednesday" (Logan is played by Wolftyla). I read her lyrics, I liked it. I could hear this being played at parties and clubs.

Me: I like it Logan, maybe change up a couple things other then that it's good.

Logan: Thanks, that means a lot coming from you.

Me: No problem, well we should finish this song then.

I sat in the chair next to our engineer Kenneth. She got into the booth.

Me: Kenneth could you speed the tempo up a little.

He played the track and increased the tempo. I liked it way better.

Me: How's this Logan, can you work with it?

Logan: Yep

Me: Start it from the beginning.

We finished the whole song and it was dope.

Me: Good job, I think this would be a hit.

Logan: Really?

Me: Yeah, it's a nice club song.

Logan: Thanks Akoye, hey it's only 9:00, want to go get some breakfast?
