Family Dilemma

Gennis' POV

It was 8:00 am on a Sunday morning and I was getting a call from some number that looked familiar. I hesitated on answering but did anyways.

Me: Hello?

The voice spoke letting be me know it was a women.

"Omari"

I knew that voice from anywhere it was one person I'd never think to call me again. Paris' mother, Alia (Ah-lee-a). I got up stepping out the room so I wouldn't wake Jewel.

Me: What do you want Alia? Why are you calling me at 8 am?

Alia: Look it's been 5 years since I've seen you or Paris. I know you have full custody of her but they say we can have joint custody if I've been clean and have my own stable place to live.

Me: Oh hell no, your not getting Paris.

Alia: I can and I will. I've been clean for 2 and a half years now I can take care of my daughter. I don't need yo little hoe playing mommy no more. All I need is you to sign the papers

Me: She not a hoe first off and I ain't signing nothing!

Alia: Please Omari I just want to see my daughter.

Me: Should've thought about that before you were all strung up. Bye.

I hung up on her walking back into the bedroom, she crazy if she think she's getting joint custody of Paris. How she gonna be a mother now if she wasn't in the past?

Jewel: Babe who was that? Are you okay?

I must've woken her up, she rubbed her eyes looking at me.

Me: I'm cool baby lets just go back to sleep.

Jewel: No, you're all tense..

She sat up lightly massaging my back which I can't lie felt good.

Jewel: What happened?

Me: It's nothing..

She started to leave kisses on the back of my neck and then down my back. Shit turned me on.

Jewel: Tell me

She continued to kiss my neck lightly placing hickeys.

Me: It was Alia, talking about getting joint custody of Paris.

Then she stopped

Jewel: What?!

Me: Yeah, saying she all clean now and wants to be with her daughter. I wasn't buying it.

Jewel: And what did you tell her?

Me: I told her ass no! She wasn't a good mother then so how I know she'll be a good one now.

She took a deep sigh

Jewel: Babe, I don't want to lose Paris..
