Christmas Dinner (pt. 2)

Tool's POV

We were back home from Harmony's parents place. Her mom got the twins and Miracle so much clothes, I'm happy that we can be blessed. Our parents are amazing. We were having dinner at my parents tonight at 7 and it was 6:00 now. I knew it'll be fun because our family gatherings were always a story to tell.

Harmony: Baby can you feed Jacobi while I get Miracle ready? He really doesn't like the bottle but I can't nurse right now.

Me: I got him babe, you still need to get dressed too.

We were all getting dressed up for the dinner, this is what we always do. Put on our nice outfits for our Christmas dinner.

Harmony: I know, I'll try and be quick.

Knew that wasn't gonna happen, but I tried feeding  Jacobi and after 10 minutes he finally stopped spitting the milk back out.

Me: Good boy you drank all your milk.

Harmony: Babe have you seen my straightener?!

Me: Check under the sink

I was already dressed and so were the twins, I  had on a black dress shirt and black pants with a red bow tie. The sneakers I had on were a matching pair of red bottoms like I bought Harmony. The twins had on similar outfits to mine, Miracle came down in her cute red dress, her hair was curled. My babygirl looked cute.

Me: Look at daddy's baby looking gorgeous, you ready to go?

Miracle: Thank you daddy and yes I'm very hungry.

Me: Okay, watch your brothers real quick while I go tell mommy to hurry up.

I ran upstairs and walked into our room, going in the bathroom watching Harmony finish her makeup. Damn she looked so good.

Me: You look beautiful baby

Harmony: Thank you babe

I place my hands on her waist standing behind her.

Me: Hurry up, Miracle hungry.

Harmony: I'm almost done okay.

Me: Mhm, I'll be waiting.

I kiss her cheek before walking out the room.

We finally left and made it to my parents place, I got the twins out carrying them in their car seats. We walked in and it smelled amazing in here.

Mom: Hey Akoye and Harmony. Merry Christmas!

Me: Hey mama, Merry Christmas!

Mom: Let me get my grandsons!

We walked into the family room and greeted all my family. I put the twins down and took Jonathan out while Harmony got Jacobi. I put Jonathan into my moms arms.

Mom: Ooo my grandchildren look so nice tonight.

Shortly after Jewel and Gennis showed up, they looked nice as well.

Gennis: What's up bro

Me: Hey, y'all look nice

Gennis: Same to y'all, all thanks to my fiancé.

Me: Feels nice to say that now huh?

Gennis: Hell yeah, can't wait to call her my wife.

Me: I feel ya bro, I really do wish y'all the best.

Gennis: Thanks man.

I talked with some of my cousins and took family pictures. I was so ready to grub, it was now time to eat. We all circle around the table to say grace. I held Jacobi in my left arm and held Harmony's hand with my right. We bowed our heads.

Mom: Lord bless this food, bless the people that prepared it. We thank you for allowing us to join together tonight on this very special day. Thank you for my family and keep them safe as we part ways after tonight. Amen.

We all said amen.

Harmony: Babe let me get Jacobi, can you fix Miracles plate?

Me: Yeah

I put Coby in her arms and went into the kitchen with Miracle. My mom still had Jonathan.

Me: What you want babygirl?

Miracle: Everything I like

Me: You hungry baby huh?

She shook her head, I gave her some chicken, ham, Mac and cheese, rice, and some vegetables. I made Harmony her plate and brought it to her.

Harmony: Aw thank you baby, I could've gotten my food.

Me: I gotchu girl.

I took Jacobi back, rocking him to sleep. He was sleepy.

Soon after we switch off and I ate, they threw down in the kitchen. Jewel was holding Jonathan now. This food was soo good!

Paris: Uncle Koye Miracle got hurt

I got up and walked to the basement where all the kids were playing. She was on the floor crying. I picked her up.

Me: What's wrong babygirl?

Miracle: We were running and I fell and hurt my knee (sniffs)

Me: Let me look at it.

She was fine, I kissed her knee making her feel better. I whipped her tears and kissed her cheek.

Me: You have to be careful okay.

She shook her head and we went back upstairs, she wanted to come with me. Such a daddy's girl but I was perfectly fine with it.

Harmony: What happen to my baby?

Miracle: I fell and hurt my knee, my daddy made it better.

Harmony: No more running for you okay.

Miracle: Okay mommy.

We spent the rest of the night playing games and dancing to the greatest hits. I was having a good time being with all my family. It was about 11:30 pm all the kids were asleep so we headed home and called it a night.
