Tool's POV
It was Thanksgiving morning and I already prepared myself for Harmony running around like crazy trying to get everything perfect for this afternoon. I was just going to be there to support her and watch the kids.
Harmony: Babe, I need your help getting the heavy things out the car.
She just came back from getting more stuff from the grocery store. I thought she got everything yesterday but apparently not. I walk downstairs, it smelt good already.
Me: Ooo, baby it smells good in here.
Harmony: Thanks hunny, my mom and sisters are coming to bring the kids and help me with the food.
Me: Okay
I walked into the garage and got the stuff out the trunk, carrying it into the house.
Me: Harmony don't stress yourself out trying to get everything done, I know you.
Harmony: What do you mean?
Me: Miss perfectionist
Harmony: Well I just want everything to be nice, and I won't stress over it.
Me: Good, did you get everything you need?
Harmony: Yeah I did, the Turkey is in the oven right now. I'm going to make the Mac and cheese in a bit.
Me: Dang I can't wait to eat. Already know the food about to be bomb.
Harmony: I hope so.
A few minutes passed and my mother in-law was here with the kids.
Me: Hey Mama, Happy Thanksgiving
I gave her a hug while grabbing Jonathan from her, they were in their car seats. Faith came in after her carrying Jacobi.
Mrs. Lancaster: Hey Akoye, same to you, how you been?
Me: I'm good, how were they?
Mrs. Lancaster: Little angels
I find that hard to believe, Castles being Angels?? Ha yeah right.
Me: Wish they were angels for us.
Oh I'm only kidding, take a joke :)
Faith: Brother in-law!
Me: Sister in-law!
I laughed at her, giving her a hug.
Me: How's it going miss senior?
Faith: Eh, same ol same ol
Harmony: My high school graduate!
Faith: Okay, okay. I'm so ready to graduate and get out of there!
Me: I bet you are.
Harmony: Where's Abby??
Mrs. Lancaster: She had a last minute project to finish, she'll be here with your father later.
