Sapphire was at the surface, she didn't expect that instead of calming sea waves what she witnessed was chaos and mess above.

Ships wrecked, destroyed, and barrel that was floating around, at last he saw the boy who saw her before at night.

Sapphire is not that bad to leave someone to drown and die, so she took him and swim with him in her arms until they reach the shore.

Sapphire place him on the ground as she look at his face, sapphire can agreed that this person is handsome.

Sapphire check her heartbeat and at last his breathing, moments later she can finally hear him breathing steadily as she took at sigh of relief.

She stayed for awhile and at last she decided to leave before the boy woke up but as soon as she turn around to leave her tail was suddenly grab which made her hissed aggressively at the boy.

Sapphire was mad, and the boy was stunned, more like his soul left his body, he was greatly surprised.

Sapphire was sure that the boy was already breathing steadily, but after what happened, I think the boy forgot how to breathe.

After the incident you could see the boy and sapphire having a staring contest, the boy just look at sapphire not knowing how to start the conversation and he's concerned if the siren can understand him, while sapphire on the other hand only stares back at the boy face.

At last the boy was the first to strike a conversation.

"Soo, you're a siren... Right?" The boy ask. He already know it's a siren but he needs to confirm first if it can understand him.

"Wasn't it too obvious?" Sapphire reply back who was offended by the question.

"Sorry" the boy said averting his eyes somewhere.

"Soo, what are doing in the middle of the ocean? What with the mess
there? " sapphire ask

"Ohhh, let say... It was the upcoming war"

"War" sapphire wondered.

"How can you go there when you can't even swin" sapphire said

"I can swin"

"Yeah... What a good swimmer, you're so good at swimming, I'll give a negative one hundred out of ten" sapphire said mockingly

It's visible that the boy was offended and was about to snap.

"I'm good at swimming!! It's just
that-" the boy said who was just about to defend himself but at lost in with words on what he's going to say

"See... Don't worry, I'll give one out of ten instead, for trying so hard to save your life" sapphire commented.

Poor boy, his face looks like a red dynamite who was about to explode in anger and embarrassment.

"What's your name?" Sapphire ask.

"You know it's rude to ask someone's name after you insulted them" the boy said frowning.

"I'm sapphire by the way! " she continued

The boy looks at her for a while before diverting it to somewhere else avoiding seeing her ridiculously smiling face.

"Alex" the boy gave up and gave his name.

"Great! Nice to meet you Alex! " sapphire said beaming with happiness.

"... Nice to meet you too"

Sapphire and Alex was pretty well get along, Alex who are matured and sapphire that was very childish.

Sapphire was the one who can to the shore and scare the living hell of Alex.

Alex will jump in surprise and would threaten sapphire that if she do it again he will definitely have a fish sapphire tonight, which made sapphire goes quiet.

They continue to hang out more and more as they find peace at each other presence, but as the time goes by, sapphire could tell that Alex eyes seems to look at her differently.

She's confused, it's a new emotion that she can't explain. It's very.... Complicated.

Sapphire already have her suspicion but, she can't just assume things and judge him immediately.

Aside from that it's impossible that Alex will feel something because he already confess that he can't feel emotions nor even taste food.

That's why she discarded the idea she had in mind.

Little did she know Alex slowly learn how to feel emotion, whenever it is simple or it's a complicated.

But Alex was very overwhelmed by this sudden rush of emotion very time he sees sapphire, he feels happy, his heart pump loudly as sapphire was approaching him, and there's time that he can't even look straight at her eyes.

It's very new to him... How long it's been since he last feel his strong sense of emotion.

Both of them were having fun at the shore... they were too busy to notice that someone found them together.

After what they witnessed they immediately run off, the rumor will spread soon.

Well it can't be avoided because human and siren can't be together.

And siren being a myth made the witnessed smile with joy ready to tell that the legend were real.

Now, with their careless act of seeing each other more and more, the life of the sea creatures in the ocean are in great danger.
