Siren woke up abruptly to see everyone was still in bed. Siren got in her uniform and ran down the stairs lighting fast. She saw only one person. She walked over to him and was about to poke him, until she saw he was still asleep.

She walked over to the window and saw the sun hasn’t even rose yet! It must have been around 5:30 in the morning.  Classes start in three and a half hours!

“This is so exciting!” Siren accidently said out loud.

The sleeping boy just mumbled something that sounded like, “Mommy”, Serenity was laughing her butt off.

She grabbed her transfiguration textbook and started reading since she had nothing better to do. She learned had to turn a pin to a needle, which they would be learning about soon, and a beetle to a button! Transfiguration was so cool!

By the time she finished reading her book, it was 6:30. She hadn’t realized she was reading that long.

Around seven, people started waking up; and the Ravenclaw common room was filling up. She saw Padma and walked over to her. She didn’t look to great… She had bags under her eyes, her hair was barley brushed, and she was yawning like crazy!

“Morning Siren…” Padma yawned.

“Good morning Padma! Did you sleep well? I know I did! I had a dream that I was doing a spell right in Charms class! Is that weird? No right! I am really hyper today don’t you think Padma! Padma?” Siren said while jumping up and down.

“Yeah, what?” Padma said, clearing looking like she was sorry for falling asleep while she talking.

“I’m going to go down to the great hall for breakfast. Wanna come?” Siren asked the still sleeping Padma.

“Nah...”

While Siren walked down to the Great hall she, of course, got lost on her way. It was a good thing she left really early….

“You there! Do you know how to get to the Great Hall?” Siren asked the painting.

“What! You woke me up for that?! I could be dreaming about becoming a kitty cat! But since I’m up, I’ll help you out. Go down the steps and go through the huge doors. Now let me sleep!” The painting said

As Siren walked on, she heard the paint mumble, “Can’t a painting get some sleep around here!”

Siren walked down many stairs, including the trick stairs, which she almost fell off of. Almost to the great hall door, she encountered peeves.

“Move Peeves! I got to eat my breakfast!” Siren yelled.

“Oh, an itty bitty first year, up so early? You excited for the first day? You must be a Hufflepuff!” The peeves said mockingly.

“Oh, that does it! I’ll go get the Bloody Baron if you don’t move! I know where he is!” Siren argued back.

“Oh yeah?! How do know where he is?”

“That is none of your business! The real question is do you know where the Bloody Baron is?” Siren said while pointing.

The peeves moved out of the way, leaving ht e door wide open. She saw a few Gryffindor and Hufflepuffs there. There was only one Ravenclaw so that’s who Siren sat next to.

“Hello, my name is Siren. What’s yours?

“Penelope Clearwater. If you don’t mind, I’d rather be alone; I am in the middle of a good book.” She said without looking up.

Siren just nodded and looked at the doors waiting for Elizabeth, but she knew that should be sleeping still, or just waking up. But she was wrong. Elizabeth woke up at the same time as Siren! She just went to the library to get The Tales of the Beetle and the Bard. She thought she might as well read it since
