The weather had started to get colder as they reached November. The trees and mountains were covered in frost. This was great weather for quidditch. The quidditch season was going to start this Saturday, and everyone was getting excited.
As Harry, Ron, Hermione, Siren, and Elizabeth sat outside by the fire Siren conjured up; Snape limped over to them as Harry pointed out. He always thought Snape does everything terrible!
“What’s that you’ve got there, Potter?” Snape said obnoxiously.
Harry showed Snape his book, “Quidditch through the Ages”, and continued reading.
“Library books are not supposed to be taken outside of the school, Potter, five points from Gryffindor.” He said while grabbing the book.
“Professor, does that mean I can’t take this scrapbook I made outside; its pictures of me and my hero!” Elizabeth said.
“No Holly, you can’t; I’ll be burning this when I get inside.” Snape said.
Elizabeth had a huge frown in her face after he said that, she put ten minutes of her life into that book!
As he walked away Harry said, “He just made up that rule! But did anyone notice his leg? I wonder what’s wrong with it…”
“Well, whatever’s wrong with it, I hope it hurts… a lot.” Siren said mischievously.
Everyone was silent after that, all except Harry who kept blurting out, ‘I loathe Snape!” and Elizabeth who kept saying, “I love Snape!” and Siren who kept saying, “Shut up! You’re both wrong!”…so it really wasn’t that quiet.

Later that evening, when everyone settled down, Siren noticed Harry getting antsy. He kept fiddling with his hands and looking from Wood, to Fred and George, to Katie Bell. Siren decided to go over to him while Hermione, Ron, and Elizabeth were doing homework (well, asking to look off Hermione’s).
“Harry, are you ok? You look like you’re going to throw up…” Siren said sitting down next to Harry.
“Yeah…fine. Don’t you think you should go and help them over there, Elizabeth looks like she’s about to kill Hermione…” Harry said.
Harry was right! Ron was holding her down… Siren had to hold in a laugh.
“Eh, you’re more important Harry! Elizabeth will settle down soon…I hope. But back to you, Harry, what’s wrong?!?” Siren asked already knowing the answer.
She knew quidditch was bothering him, and she could understand how he felt. She was feeling that all year. That feeling of failing at what you’re supposed to do. The feeling that everything is up to you and if you don’t do it right everyone will hate you! Oh yes, she knew how he felt.
“Well…quidditch is bothering me, what if I do something wrong Siren?! Or what if-” Harry was cut off by Siren.
“Harry, do you want your Quidditch through the ages back?” Siren asked.
Harry nodded quickly then said, “But Snape has it in the staff room, how are we going to get it?”
“We’ll do it the old fashioned way, Harry! We shall go to the staff room and ask for it!” Siren said getting up.
“Hey, guys! Harry and I are going to the teacher’s room to get Harry’s book back!” Siren said cheerfully.
“Better you two then me!” Elizabeth, Ron, and Hermione said all together.
