Forever

We talk about forever
But how long is it
It could go on for 70 years or
It could end with a hit

I used to dream forever
Because I always liked the destination
Now I carve the journey
Where you would be my designation

Forever isn't supposed to last
It always came to an end
But if you were beside me
I suppose hell can always feel like heaven

I guess it's always not heaven
Sometimes it's the future
But with you in my life
I would've already tasted being free and forgotten.

Forever isn't supposed to be a long time
But it's supposed to tie you to me,
It is supposed to make you my life
So I couldn't survive another longing famine.

It's so cruel
When people say it's not real,
Unconditional love doesn't exist
When all you gotta do is let yourself feel.

Why is unconditional love so complicated,
When it's only conditions is
Is that it has none,
Why is it so hard to give unconditional love,
When all you gotta do is truly love someone.

Conditional love means
If you don't do this,
I wouldn't love you back,
Why does it always have to be like that.

I dream of you
In so, so many forms,
In my imagination as my love,
Or someone I couldn't ever foul.

The first time I though of you
I created this space,
So you could hold me
When I just needed some grace.

I call you in my dreams
You came from wherever you are,
You said every right thing you could
Including calling me 𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘳.

But love isn't perfect,
Because that has the beauty of it all,
But what if it is perfect,
And the rest is the humankind's fault

We can make it perfect,
Or it can slip from our hands,
Just so you know, however we have it
I wish you would find me in the end.

I wish for us,
It would last a while,
With me in your arms
and you in mine

Reading so many books has given me one thing,
If not all,
It told me forever isn't supposed to be a long time,
It's as long as you are the last person I carve in this forsaking famine.
