I made the strangest discovery today. I quickly connected the puzzle pieces and realized that your new girlfriend is a carbon copy of me. same morals and beliefs, same career (!!!), same humor, the list really goes on.
and then i laugh. i truly do from the bottom of my gut. because the man i have chosen, emphasis on man, is the complete opposite of you.

i feel like that's a good way of understanding how our relationship used to be, right? who it was working for and who it wasn't (that person being me). it's almost poetic in its nature.
