Hughie's Sister (Billy Butcher x OC)

Butcher And Raven Bonding Filler.

After calming down the lack of remorse starts to set it, I should feel something but I don't and that does not sit right with me. I decided to call Butcher...If anyone makes me feel more human it is him.

"Little busy love, About to head out of town for a supe thing" He says picking up the phone.

"Mind swinging by my place and picking me up? I'd love a little road trip" I ask sipping on a coffee.

"Sure, Be there in five" He says before hanging up.

I smile and go and make two cups of coffee in travel mugs. Might as well make sure Butcher is caffeinated right?

True to his word Butcher showed up within five minutes, I open the passenger door and get in. I hold out one of the mugs to him "I made you coffee for the road" I smile.

"Thanks Love" He smiles taking the coffee and putting it in one of the cup holders.

"You're welcome Butcher, So what are we doing?" I ask putting my cup beside his and getting my seatbelt on.

"We are going to talk to Gunpowder about his old pal Soldier Boy" Butcher explains as he starts driving.

"Wait, Why? What's Soldier Boy got to do with anything? Also uh...Who is Soldier Boy?" I ask furrowing my brows as I look at him.

"You don't know Soldier Boy?" He asks raising a brow.

"No I was never really into the supe stuff, That was Hughie's hyper fixation" I pull out my phone and look up Soldier Boy, Oh God...He's hot.

"Soldier Boy was basically Homelander before Homelander. He was able to be taken out so I figure if we can find out the how...We can take out Homelander" Butcher explains looking at me.

My head snaps in his direction "We can't kill Homelander, They'd just make a new version of him or something" I snort.

"That would take a lot of time Love, We could stop it or at least be prepared. Homelander's death would shake the whole supe loving world" Butcher smirks.

"You're insane Butcher, Anyone ever tell you that?" I ask taking a sip of my coffee.

"Oh plenty of times" He chuckles "Ok fine, Let's change the subject then. What did you do? Why'd you wanna come with me?" He asks looking at me.

"I miss spending time with you, Besides why wouldn't I after the almost thing this morning?" I say quietly and look away blushing.

"What thing?" He smirks making me look at him.

"You know what thing" I slap his hand away and huff.

"Oh I definitely do but I want to hear you say it" He grins.

I let out a long exaggerated sigh "The almost kiss Butcher" I fiddle with my necklace a bit.

"And if it happened?" He asks.

"I wouldn't mind it Butcher but I am also not ready for a relationship anytime soon" I look out the window.

"So no strings then? Noted" He hums and turns on the radio.

We didn't talk at all for the rest of the drive but it was comfortable.
