Nothing Like It In The World Part 2

We got to my dad's safe house and I have been standing outside the door for maybe 20 minutes "I haven't seen him in over a year...And this is the thing that brings me to finally visit, This won't be easy I hope you know" I look at Jagger, He tucks my hair behind my ear "Take all the time you need and I'll stay out of it unless you need me" He smiles softly and knocks on the door "Jagger!" I hiss and groan but he just chuckles "You'd be here all night Darlin" He takes a step back as the door opens.

"R-Raven?!" Dad's eyes widen before he pulls me into his arms, I just barely hug him back "H-Hey dad..." I whisper and clear my throat pulling away "This is my friend Jagger, Can we come in?" I ask. He looks at Jagger and then me and nods "Yeah of course you can" He steps to the side, Jagger and I walk into the living room and sit down.

"I saw you're in The Seven now, Not really what I saw for you kiddo" My dad sits on the chair not to far from us.

"Well what I do is none of your business...However I am not there willingly, It was to protect Hughie" I bounce my leg a bit and shake my head "No actually how dare you" I stand up and look at him "You realize I left over a year ago because you were a crappy dad who didn't care about me only his precious Hughie...I want to know why, Why didn't you care? And why did you lie to us about mom leaving?" I glow my eyes and he flinches looking away from me.

My eyes widen "It's because of my powers isn't it?" I walk closer, He jumps up to his feet "Yes! Ok?! I never wanted a daughter let alone one with those powers!" He rubs his face. I tilt my head and glow my eyes going through his mind for the information I need, My eyes widen at what I find.

"M-Mom left...because you had an affair" I step back and sit down "She isn't my mom..." I cover my face with my hands "I-I you...How did you do that?!" He asks in pure shock. I look at him "I went through your mind and found everything I needed...including who my real mom is...Surprise my magic can do a lot now" I stand up "I'm leaving...I need to go and find this woman" I sigh and head toward the door. He grabs my arm "No! You can't go to her! She's...terrifying Raven" He squeezes my arm and I snarl at him "Let me go right now before I remove your hand from your body" I look at him eyes glowing brightly, crown atop my head.

He let's me go, his eyes are wide and he starts shaking..."Y-You...It's too late you've already unlocked that part of yourself..." He moves back "You are my kid and I love you...Be careful" He sits down.

Jagger snarls at him "You don't get to say that to her after all of this! You are lucky she isn't telling me to kill you or I would. You should be fucking ashamed of yourself, Your daughter is magnificent and strong and brave and she deserves the world" Jagger takes my hand and pulls me out of there. We walk in silence to the car and the moment I get inside it I break down sobbing.

We got back to Jagger's place and I have been curled up in a ball on the chair for a while.

I knew my dad wasn't the best but I didn't think he thought that way of me...all over powers I never asked for...He shouldn't have had an affair! I don't even know how to tell Hughie about this. He is going to be heartbroken.

"You need to eat something, You barely ate your breakfast" Jagger sits a plate down in front of me "I'm not hungry..." I don't even look at him "Don't make me feed you like a child because I will. You need to keep your strength up especially if your real mom is unstable" He makes me look at him "Eat" He simply says and gets up.

I groan knowing he's right and start eating the food "What if she doesn't want to see me? It's been 23 years since I was born probably at least 22 since she's seen me...She hasn't come for me either" I look at him "Maybe she has a good reason? What if she was scared? Maybe your dad said something" He takes a bite of his own food "That's possible...can you teach me a locator spell for finding her?" I ask giving him puppy eyes, He snorts and laughs at me "Yeah sure thing~ Won't be too hard" He smiles as I finish my plate "Good girl see it wasn't so hard~" He winks and takes the plate away.

I stand up "I'm gonna go take a nap" I walk into the bedroom, change into PJ's and curl up under the covers. Tomorrow is going to be...interesting.

End of part 2! You can probably tell I am kinda mixing Marvel into this only with 1 character which will be her mom.
