Ryan,

"Siya... Siya..." My voice was tight with worry as I pulled the phone away from my ear.

The call had disconnected.

Frowning, I immediately tried calling her back, but this time.....'The number you are trying to reach is currently switched off.'

A sharp breath left my lips, frustration curling in my chest.

Without wasting another second, I dialed another number. But there was no answer.

Once.
Twice.
Still nothing.

"Where the hell is she? I sent her to protect Siya, and now she's not even answering her damn phone?" I gritted out, my grip tightening around the steering wheel.

I called again. No response.

Panic churned in my stomach. My mind raced.

Where could Siya be?
Was she safe?
What had happened to make her cry like that?

And worst of all, who had dared to hurt her?

My fingers clenched into fists, my jaw locking in anger. If someone even thought of harming her, I swear... they will regret the day they were born. I would make sure of it.

With urgency, I dialed my assistant, Kevin.

"Track Siya's last location. Now."

My voice was sharp, cold. I had already spoken to the commissioner, and he had personally assured me that his team was searching for her.

But that wasn't enough.

I needed to find her. I needed to see her with my own eyes, to know she was safe.

Ten minutes later,

The second Kevin sent me her last known location, I didn't waste another moment.

Foot pressing hard on the accelerator, I sped towards the hospital.

I parked the car in front of the hospital and rushed inside, my heart pounding so loudly it echoed in my ears.

My eyes darted around the place, searching. I needed to see her. I needed to know she was okay.

But she was nowhere in sight.

I strode toward the reception desk, my patience running dangerously thin. "A patient just arrived here... Siya. Her name is Siya. Where is she?"

The receptionist barely glanced up, scrolling leisurely through her phone. "Wait, sir... I'll check."

I slammed my hand against the desk, making her jump. "I don't have time for this. Check. Now." My voice was sharp, leaving no room for delays.

She quickly turned to her computer, typing something.

I clenched my fists, crossing my fingers instinctively praying, hoping. The need to see Siya, to make sure she was safe, was clawing at my chest with every passing second.

Her voice finally broke the silence. "Sir... there's no patient with that name here."

I stared at her, my breathing slowing for a moment. "What do you mean?" My voice was eerily calm, dangerously controlled.

She hesitated. "I checked thoroughly, sir. There's no one by that name."

I felt something snap inside me. "You're out of your mind. She's here. I know she's here. My Wife -My Siya-is here!" My voice thundered across the reception area.
