Update.

five years.

five. motherufcking years.

five years since i've last accessed this account, and that i've given a proper update about this story. i got curious and decided to open this for the first time in forever, my last update was (checks fanfic chapters) in september 2020. but alas, it's nice to see all of you two people who've read this until the last chapter, and i barely know if anyone would be interested in this at all, but i saw BC&BM hit top #5 in the ew tag (hooray), and so i thought that i could at least give closure as to why i've put it on hiatus and never came back.

number one reason is: i've mainly lost interest in eddsworld, and even the storylines got a bit boring for me. maybe The End set up high expectations for me about how the series would continue ? also, eddsworld was the main source for my art, and so getting into new things had led me to abandoning it and therefore, i've stopped to draw them, and also stopped writing.

i've also gotten away from most of my social media - wattpad being one of them, to take care of my mental health, but i've gotten accommodated and since then i didn't have any contact with posting anything besides a few (very VERY few) stories on my own personal instagram.

this update obviously doesn't mean i am going back to finishing it. but i do want to. well, i guess it'd be a (way too) sudden improvement since i wrote all that when i was like.. 16? anyways. i'd probably have to put it in hiatus again since i'll be getting married in a few months.

it's mostly this . i hope you missed me

i had plans for this story, and if i'm inspired enough i could write something, but i also wouldn't want it to be rushed, and i'd try to be careful with plot holes, and so chapters would take a lot of time to come out.

besides all of that, i still want it to be enjoyable, i know there are people who'd like to have something to read if they're veterans or are new to the eddsworld fandom.
