In the time of whispers and ancient song,
Where the trees in England grew tall and strong,
There lived two souls, untamed and free—
Peter, calm and bound by decree,
And Eloise, a tempest wild,
With mischief in her eyes, a playful child.

She danced through life like a breeze in the spring,
Unraveling the rules, leaving joy in her wings.
Her laughter, a melody, bright and unbound,
Like a bird flying high with no earthly ground.
While Peter, ever steady, his heart well guarded,
Followed the rules, and never departed
From his quiet, composed, and noble ways,
His mind a fortress, yet his heart a maze.

He'd watch her with eyes that softened with care,
Surprised by her wit, her audacity, rare.
She'd steal glances, and without a word,
Would lead him to places where none had occurred
A moment so bold, so untamed and free,
She'd pull him close with no boundaries to see.

He'd shake his head, a reluctant sigh,
But his love for her was a truth he couldn't deny.
He'd cover her mischief with gentle grace,
Even when her daring steps put them in place.
Though his mind was firm, and his ways precise,
Her spark, her spirit, made him think twice.

At the grand ball, the night dressed in gold,
Eloise stood in the center, a vision untold—
Her gown shimmered like stars in the sky,
Her smile radiant, catching every eye.
And there, amidst the crowd, Peter stood,
Watching her, his heart understood.

For though he was calm and collected and shy,
Seeing her with Paul made his heart fly high.
A jealous spark ignited deep in his chest,
As Paul asked for a dance, a simple request.
But Eloise, with a playful grin,
Was ready to say yes, with mischief within.

Before the words could escape her lips,
Peter took a step forward, his heart in grips,
He gently asked, with a voice so low,
"May I have this dance, my lady, in tow?"
Eloise blinked in surprise, then smiled wide,
For she knew in that moment, Peter couldn't hide.

They danced under chandeliers, so grand,
Her laughter, a whisper, his hand in her hand.
The world disappeared, the music a spell,
As they twirled and swayed, where no one could tell.
With each step, her heart beat wild and fast,
Her untamed soul, so free at last.

And later, in the quiet of the night,
They stood on the rooftop, bathed in soft moonlight.
The fireworks danced in colors so bright,
Their eyes met, hearts alight.
Eloise, with a teasing smile so sweet,
Caught his gaze, his heart skipping a beat.

"Why do you always follow the rules?" she asked,
Her voice a secret, her question unmasked.
Peter, shy and lost in her eyes,
Blushed as he answered, with no disguise,
"Because... you're worth the rules I must keep,
But when it comes to you, my heart leaps deep."

And in that moment, the world stood still,
As they shared a secret, their hearts to fill.
Her mischief, his calm, their love untamed,
In a world of rules, they both were framed.
The night whispered promises of what could be,
As Peter and Eloise danced, forever free.

Their love, though secret, grew strong each day,
As the winds of time led them on their way.
Eloise, the untamed, and Peter, the true,
In each other's arms, their hearts, they knew.
