CHAPTER 14: SHADOW BEASTS & GAMMAROCK THE STONE TYRANT

Link and Meena were only about a mile away from Death Mountain. They could even see how all of the Eldin Province was covered in twilight. "Twilight? Again?" Meena said to herself squinting at the twilight in the distance.

Link looked at her. "Hm?" He asked. Meena shook her head. "Nothing." She said. Link shrugged and kept looking forward. He slowly side-glanced at her. Meena was laying up against Nyroc's hunch with her arms folded behind her head with her hands held together to support her head.

Her legs were arched up with one crossed on top of the other. She tapped that one foot in midair looking up at the still blue sky. Her long mid-thigh skin black boots looked very cute on her. She looked like she was not really there. Her black assassin ripped long skirt at the back lay out on each side of Nyroc. The short front which ended at the upper thigh was almost folded down to her stomach due to her legs being bent up ALMOST showing her black panties underneath.

Her tail swayed side-to-side beside her looking nervous. Her brown wavy/curly hair spread out around her. Link could tell something was on her mind. Especially due to her body language and facial expression. Even in her tail's movements. "Something's wrong. Is it because of Rin?" Link thought to himself looking over at Rin who was resting up against Nyroc's hunch on the other side.

The sunlight was shining on Meena perfectly. She looked like a goddess of some kind. Link blushed a bit staring back at her. "Whoa... She looks... Beautiful like that..." He thought to himself a bit excited as his eyes widened a bit and his ears went red. Meena side-glanced at him.

She turned her head to face Link and noticed his expression. Link still stared at her. Meena raised an eyebrow. Link stopped daydreaming and shook his head looking off at the twilight ahead. Meena let out a small, quiet, cute giggle as she looked back up at the sky. All of a sudden, she thought she saw two short witches riding on their broomsticks high up in the sky.

She gasped and rubbed her eyes as she shook her head. She looked up and squinted. Nothing. "Ugh. I must be imagining things. Calm down." She thought to herself. Midna twirled out of Link's shadow and watched them silently. Victoria also twirled out of Meena's and looked at Rin. She floated over to him and started to talk with him. Meena heard them whispering and peeked over Nyroc's hunch. "What are they talking about?" She thought to herself. She shrugged and went back to her current position.

Midna shook her head frustrated. "UUUUGGHH!!!!!! Why are you two being so SILENT?!!" She yelled throwing her hands in the air as she floated slightly behind them. Link and Meena looked behind them. "No reason." Link said. Midna glared at him. "Yeah right!" Midna said sounding annoyed.

Meena looked back up at the sky. She sighed. "I'm just tired. And I've got so many things on my mind." Meena said. Link looked back at Meena. "Like what?" He asked. Meena looked at him. "Just, that stupid piece of the riddle the key lady told us! I can't get it out of my head! Plus it's not much to work with." She said annoyed as her tail swayed more aggressively. Link got a bit nervous by Meena's sudden change in behavior.

"Well we still need to find the other two. We will figure it out soon." Victoria called out listening to their conversation. The other three looked at her as she talked with Rin again. "Well we need to do it..." Rin whispered back to Victoria. "Do it now!" He whispered sounding worried and desperate. Link perked his ear up and looked over his shoulder at them. He looked suspicious.
