CHAPTER 15: LUDA & BARNES BOMB SHOP

(A/N: Some suggestive humor comes from this chapter. Mainly from Barnes. I think you guys will know this humor when you see it or read it 😂 And sorry but I had to put it in 😂)

Link and Meena both reached Kakariko Village. They tied Epona and Nyroc to a tree outside and started walking. It was like a ghost town. No one was in sight. Link didn't understand. "Where is everyone?" He asked himself.

Then, a young girl walked out of some sort of house that resembled a hut or something. She came up to Link cheerfully. "Hello Link! It's been some time!" The girl said smiling up at Link.

Link smiled back. "Oh, hello Luda." Link said. Meena looked at Luda. Luda was just half an inch taller than her. "Link?" Meena said. Link looked down at her. "Who's this?" Meena asked. "Oh this is Luda." Link said.

Luda looked at Meena and smiled brightly. She put out her hand for Meena to shake. Hesitant, Meena shook hands with the girl. "Luda, as you now know! Who are you?" Luda said. "Oh, I'm Meena." Meena said smiling back.

"I like that name! It sounds foreign. It's pretty." Luda complimented. "Oh, thanks. I like your name too." Meena said. Luda giggled. "Thank you." She said. "Luda? Where's Renado?" Link asked looking around.

"Oh some of the Goron residents went back up to Death Mountain. There's this terrifying fire dragon... Thingy... That's taken it over. Even their strongest guy Darbus couldn't stop it." Luda informed them.

Link and Meena went wide-eyed. This must be the monster they'd have to face at the end of the Goron Mines that's guarding the next key. "And Father went to Zora's Domain to help Prince Ralis out. He's been having nightmares or something? I don't really know." Luda said.

"Oh." Link said. "The only ones really here in the village are me and Barnes." Luda said. "Also there's this guy who is the same age as me. He is weird too. He was staying at the Eldin Inn but saying he needed to do something up at Death Moutain. But ever since he left, bad things started to happen up there." Luda said looking from the hotel then pointing up at the volcanic mountain.

Link and Meena thought about it. "How old was he?" Meena asked. "Oh, the mystery boy? He told me he was 15. And I'm 15." Luda said. "Wait Luda'd 15 like me?" Meena thought. "Anyways, ever since he left, he never came back." She said.

"I felt like he was up to something. But I don't know..." Luda said suspiciously. "What did he look like?" Link asked. "He had pale-light lavender skin almost and dark purple hair." Luda said. Link and Meena gasped. That sounded a bit like Rin.

"What?" Luda asked since they gasped. "Oh, nothing." Meena said. "Maybe Rin beat us here and decided to head to Death Mountain?" Meena thought. "Hm... This is too weird..." Link thought.

"Anyways, go visit Barnes! I'm just going to go back into my house." Luda said walking back over to the house she came out of. "Bye! Thanks for the info!" Link called out to her. Luda opened the door, turned back, waved, then went inside.

Link and Meena walked up to the bomb shop. Link knocked on the door. "Hello? Is there anybody in there?" Link called through the door. "Go away!" A voice called through the other side. Link shook his head. "Barnes? It's me, Link." He said. Short pause. "Why should I believe you?!" Barnes said back. "I don't know. Why shouldn't you?" Link said.

Another pause. "Because a punk was here!" Barnes said. Meena gasped. "HE'S a troublemaker. He tried to steal my bombs!" Barnes explained on the other side of the door. "You can trust me!" Link said. "It's me! I can stop him!" Link said trying to convince Barnes.

"Tell me something. Something only LINK would know." Barnes said. "You're cheap and crabby and I tricked you into letting me have a dozen bombs for only 5 rupees once." Link said. Meena looked at him. "Really?" She whispered. Link just shrugged. Barnes gasped.
