Attention one and attention all! This is an announcement to let you know I'm rewriting this book. I sometimes fear that I am my worst critic, and when I read other well-written stories, I must confess I'm pretty embarrassed and scrutinize what I have written. So I decided to re-read this old book of mine and was honestly quite embarrassed at all its mistakes and cringe moments.

Therefore! I'm going to edit, change, add, remove some things, and hopefully, the product will be better than last time. I know some of you may be thinking, "But I enjoyed the original version!" And to that, I say: fear not! The heart of the story will remain intact. Think of this as a director's cut, if you will. A chance to polish the rough edges, to breathe new life into characters that have been living rent-free in my head for months.

As I embark on this journey of literary self-improvement, I invite you, dear readers, to join me. Your patience and understanding are appreciated as I tinker with the narrative gears and oil the rusty plot hinges.

Who knows? Perhaps in this revision process, we'll uncover the hidden depths of our beloved characters. Maybe that throwaway line in chapter three will blossom into a pivotal subplot. The possibilities are as endless as my supply of red pens and caffeine.

Get ready! We're about to explore familiar ground with a new perspective and a renewed sense of direction. It's time to embark on this journey through words again, and I assure you, the endpoint will be worth the trip.

So do let me know if there's something you want me to add, keep, or take away entirely. I'm open to all suggestions, so let me hear them! Thank you for reading!
