I'm super sorry for not updating a while, but I finally got it in. :)

Chapter 4
Bella's POV
'Wake up' Ugh, it was that same annoying voice that kept speaking to me every thirty seconds. Telling me to wake up. Well, what if I didn't want to wake up? Common sense struck the inner parts of my dreaming state and it was like it was telling me, "Don't be stupid! Just wake up!! You know why!" Ugh, stupid conscience.
I was asleep on the new comfy bed, well it wasn't that comfy but i might as well as be grateful for what I had. It was better than the cold, dirty floor in the dungeon. I groaned and finally popped my eyes open to see a faint morning light shining through the small window. I sat up to see that Anna was still asleep. Hm. It must be pretty early then.
I let out a yawn and decided to wake up, seeing that I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. I hopped out of the bed and made it. After that, I sat down on it once again before hearing my stomach rumble. I grimaced. Hunger. That was something I didn't want to deal with right now. But, if my stomach kept protesting, I would eventually give in.
And, as if on cue, my stomach let out another loud growl and I touched it.
"Stupid stomach. Can't you go one day without food?" I hissed at it slightly. I know, stupid for me to be talking to my stomach but hey, waddaya gonna do?
I sighed and stood up before walking as quietly as I could towards the door and exiting the room. Once I was out, I found that not much maids or slaves or whatever were awake either. Man, it must be really early. I bit my lip as I began to walk down the hall until I finally found a hallway that led to a kitchen.
But before I made another move, I stopped suddenly and thought to myself. Were servants allowed to eat on their own? I pondered that question for a moment before, not a second later, I was viciously attacked to the ground and hissed at. Figures. I wasn't really afraid of the leech that attacked me because I was kinda expecting it.
I did, however, feel an enormous amount of pain rack my left leg and I sucked in a sharp breath of air. Damn, it hurt.
"You stupid, idiotic human. What do you think you're doing out of your quarters?!" the guard, I assumed, hissed angrily at me. I opened my mouth to reply when he smacked me against the face and lifted me off the ground only to push me against the wall.
I let out a whimper and closed my eyes once I realized his turned red. Sure, I'd seen Adonis's red eyes but, yeesh, this guy scared me more than Adonis did. Maybe it was because of some sort of 'gotta be more scary-looking since I'm a guard' motto going on? Whatever it was, I did not want to look at him.
The guard grabbed my upper arms and squeezed them so hard that I had to open my eyes in alarm and let out a cry of pain. Ugh!!! Vampires were so cruel!! I looked him in the eyes and he was watching me with deadly rage. This guy needed some serious anger management help.
As if he heard my thoughts, which I'm pretty sure he did, he let out a roar or anger and bared his fangs. I gasped and tried to free myself but the attempt was futile. Look at me? A stupid and obviously brain-dead human trying to escape the wrath of the evil and horrific blood-sucker. Ha, the irony to the piece has finally broke through.
