couple months go by 

lake pov 

after learning I was pregnant Steve and everyone else have not let me out of their sights 

Steve and chin along with Danny and Joe have cleared out a room in Steve's house to make it into a nursery for the baby 

Kono- so lake how are you feeling 

lake-good for the most part I'm glad I didn't get any morning sickness 

Rachel- lucky I had it a lot with Gracie 

Gracie- aunt lake when is the baby going to get here 

lake- hopefully soon 

Kono- so do you know what the gender is 

lake- it's in the envelope me and Steve haven't opened it yet 

Rachel- what do you think it is 

lake- I think it might be a girl but I'm okay with either one as long as it's healthy 

Gracie- I think it's a boy 

Rachel- yeah I think so too 

Kono- I think it's a girl 

chin- I think it's a girl 

Danny- me too I hope it is I can't have a mini Steve running around 

Joe- well I think its a boy 

lake- we just have to wait and see 

next morning

im in Steve arms I felt water go down my legs I get up and I know my water broke I shake Steve awake 

lake- Steve 

Steve- sweetheart you okay 

lake- my water broke 

Steve- okay let's get you up and get the hospital bag and go to the hospital 

lake- okay. Steve help me change and get our bags we get in his truck and head to the hospital we finally made it and I'm being put in the room after the nurses hook me to the monitors they left to check on me again in a while Steve let everyone else know that we are in the hospital 

Steve- how you doing baby 

lake- okay the contractions are hard but I have you here with me 

Steve pov 

as time passes lake's contractions get closer the doctor comes in to check and tells us that lake is ready to push 

doctor- okay lake I need you to take a deep breath on the count of three push 

lake- okay 

lake starts pushing I hold her hand in my as I whisper sweet things in her ear 

Steve- you got this baby I'm right here with you 

lake- ahhhhhh it hurts 

doctor- okay lake another deep breath and push 

lake- ahhhhhhh 

after a couple of hours the baby is finally born 

doctor- congratulations commander Mcgarrett you have a beautiful and healthy baby boy 

lake- hey little one look Steve he's perfect 

Steve- yeah it is hey little guy

there was a knock on the door of the hospital room 

Steve- come in 

Danny- hey guys how are you lake 

lake- good Danny 

Gracie- aunt lake can I see the baby 

lake- of course everyone me and Steve will like to introduce to you 

baby Danny Steve mcgarrett 

Danny- it's a boy 

lake- yes me and Steve decided to name him after you save my and Steve ass multiple times it was only fair 

Steve- and we want chin kono and grover to be the god parents after saving lake on the pier if you guys accept 

grover- we love to man 

Kono- yes 

chin- absolutely 

Rachel- he's so adorable 

lake- he is isn't hey Danny these people are your family

couple of years have passed after having Danny me and Steve have 3 more kids in total we have 4 two boys and two girls are boy's name are Danny and Sawyer while our girls name are Joanna and violet me and Steve had our up and downs with our relationship and life but it was all worth it everyone is at our house we their kids husbands and wives me and Steve are happily married and wouldn't want it any other way 

Steve- I love you lake
