Hakorou flashed in front of Yoo Junghyuk, and the man brought his sword as fast as his instinct could follow.
He activated his skill [Air Steps] and swiftly leaped away from the kijin. But just as he was in mid-air, the kijin appeared and attempted another strike at his back.
Activating his [Strong Body Defense] and [Blue Star Weapon Aura], he turned around and deflected Hakorou's blade.
'Close. This old man reminds me of Master...'
Yoo Junghyuk used his [Air Steps] to distance away from him. As his feet landed on the ground, he started his next attack.
His [Sky Shaker Sword] radiated a powerful blue aura that was empowered by his skill. As he appeared in front of the kijin, he brought the sword with might and speed.
But then, he hesitated. Hakorou's eyes were following his movements. As the old man stood there, he couldn't help but feel that he was trapped.
The kijin unsheated his sword again, and Yoo Junghyuk stiffened. He couldn't continue the attack knowing it was part of the kijin's plan.
If he slashed his sword, then the latter would avoid it fast enough and use the moment as a vulnerability to cut off his head or limbs.
He jumped away and discontinued the attack, but the old man continued his own. He followed Yoo Junghyuk mid air, and the man gritted his teeth as they exchanged blows after blows, each of their strike screeching with clanging of powerful swords.
Yoo Junghyuk barely deflected his attacks as he was struggling against the speed of the kijin. It was inhumane.
Adrenaline rushed inside his body, and he finally found an opening. He used [Force Palm] to send the kijin flying, and then attacked him mid air.
But before his attack could reach Hakorou, the latter used [Flash Step] and disappeared.
Yoo Junghyuk growled in frustration and looked for him. Then, he started to attack aggressively. Every swing of his sword sent dust and debris everywhere, but each of them was still parried by Hakorou.
As Yoo Junghyuk sent a down strike, Hakorou side stepped and attempted to cut him sidewards. But the man shifted the direction of the sword and parried it, then continued.
As both of them pushed each other by swordsmanship, the trees and ground around them got cut and ruined.
"That guy's having a hard time, I can tell," Kim Dokja sighed as he listened to the sounds of swords in a distance. Then returned to Heewon.
The purple-haired kijin was a menace. A strike from her blade, that was very large, splitted the ground in half. She was really an [Executioner].
But Kim Dokja didn't have to worry. If she was an [Executioner], then Heewon was a [Judge]. It must be coincidence, that both of them with the opposing attribute fought.
Jung Heewon was excellent. She's got everything in control thanks to her [Flames of Hell], but her lack of swordsmanship was being overpowered by the kijin.
The kijins had likely more experience than them in terms of combat. Despite that, Jung Heewon still has the upper hand.
Shion appeared behind her and raised her Hercules Deluxe. [Beheading Slice], Shion activated her skill and slammed down her blade.
Jung Heewon managed to dodge it in time. The ground in which she stood moments ago got obliterated instantly. Dust and debris filled her vision, and she was momentarily blinded.
