Chapter 43: Rimuru Tempest

"S-

"muru-

What?

"Rimur-

A familiar voice was calling me.

"Rimuru-sama!!"

"W-What?!!"

My eyes went open as I jolted awake. Gobta's voice still ringing in my ear drums.

"What was that for?!" I complained.

"We've been trying to wake you up for hours now!"

What? What is he talking about?

My brows knitted in confusion as I looked around and saw that everyone was gathered in my room. Their faces looking at me expectantly.

I could feel the softness and smoothness of the silk below me, especially the pillow on my hand. The sensation felt familiar.

I turned to the side of the room and saw a window. It was morning, and I could see the birds on the window, humming and playing with each other. Behind them was the outside world, the view which was cascaded by trees and morning light.

"Rimuru-sama!"

"You're back!"

"You're finally awake!!"

Shion and Shuna crushed me in between their hugs, the familiar embrace made me feel at home. Rigur and the others wiped off their tears at the sight of me awake, like they've seen a miracle once again.

Seriously, what's going on?

"Did I pass out?" I asked them. I assumed that I passed out after exhausting my magicules. Great Sage could've warned me first..

"For three days, like always, Rimuru-sama," Benimaru answered. His red hair and handsome smile flaring as usual. Souie was standing behind him.

"Oh... So it was a.."

Dream.

It was just a dream.

Really? Hahaha, really? It was just a dream!

I transformed into a slime as Shuna and Shion hugged me between them. Then, I bounched away from their arms and landed on the ground before turning into my human form again.

"Let's throw a party, everyone!"

I exclaimed loudly and laughed. I couldn't believe that it was all a dream. The happiness overload made me jump from time to time until I metamorphically reached cloud nine.

I couldn't wait to tell them about my adventures.

"Rimuru-sama," Shuna called.

"Dream where I got reincarnated as a human in a weird world! It was very stressing and fun! I met this guy named..."

"Rimuru-sama.."

"Wait Shuna, I think his name was... What was it again?"

Who am I talking about? What kind of dream did I have anyway? Wait, why can't I remember?... I was sure I met a man... That man.. His face, his name..

"Rimuru-sama!"

Shuna shouted at me and I flinched. My eyes slowly widening as I looked at her. It's not usual for her to raise her voice that much. I've been scolded for being childish but, this seems different.
