Jennie and Y/N both hail from affluent backgrounds, like many of their schoolmates attending a private academy known as KIS (Korea International School) which houses an assortment of students.

Throughout Jennie's high school reputation at KIS, had earned her as one of the most sought-after girls on campus.

During her junior year, her reputation peaked when she began dating the school's quarterback, Kai. While Jennie may not have held strong feelings for Kai, she agreed to date him out of boredom and an existing familiarity with their social circle.

Kai's indifference was palpable, rarely engaging in meaningful conversations or taking Jennie on proper dates. Their relationship revolved around physicality, with their interactions limited to making out, public displays of affection, and sexual encounters.

The first time they were intimate was particularly frustrating for Jennie, as Kai paid little attention to her needs, leaving her unsatisfied and resorting to self-pleasure afterwards in frustration.
