Chapter 20// stuck in the moment

Andrea's Pov
I was with some guys of course most of them flirting with me but I didn't really pay much attention. I guess the vodka was wearing off because I was more aware of what I was doing now. I went to go get me a water and sat down thinking about that kiss I had with Hayes, did it actually mean something to me ? I mean I felt a small spark.

Not the ones I feel with Ethan because those feel like fireworks, like the way he kisses me with his full pink plump lips and the way he caresses my cheek when he kisses me.

NO. Stop. I can't think of him, he already moved on and I should too.

But when I kissed Hayes I just felt a little warm inside. I just can't like him, I can't deal with another heart break like that. At least not after what he did.

My thoughts got cut off
"Would you like to dance ?" I looked up to see Dustin. Great, just to make the night better (note my sarcasm)

I mean he's not drunk so it'll be okay right ?
"Yeah sure." I set down my water and we made our way to the dance floor. We were just moving to the beat, his hands on my hips and me quickly swaying them side to side. For once I wasn't thinking about anything and just having fun. I looked up and saw that Dustin was about to lean in to kiss me.

Shit.

I didn't really know what to do so I just stood there shocked when someone grabbed me by my arm and pulled me out of the crowd. I was being dragged so fast that In less than 10 seconds I couldn't see Dustin anymore.

I saw I was in the backyard and I turn to see who brought me back here.

Well shit.

Ethan Grant Dolan.

"Why the hell were you dancing with that douche" he asked my sternly
"It's none of your damn business" I spat back at him trying to lose the grip he had me in.
"It fucking is. He's gonna hurt you" he said raising his voice a little bit
"Really ? Because if anyone here is gonna hurt me its obviously gonna be you because you've already done it once I haven't you!" I said almost yelling
"Look who's talking the one going around acting like a slut kissing every fucking guy possible" he said with his voice raised.

I stopped and my eyes got watery. That hurt even tho I'm trying to move on, what he says to me still hurts. I guess he saw my reaction because his eyes softened and right when he was about to say something I lost his grip on my hand and smacked him right across the face. I knew it had to hurt because my hand was stinging.

"I HAVEN'T KISSED ANY FUCKING GUY ASIDE FROM HAYES TONIGHT AND YOU KNOW WHAT I ACTUALLY ENJOYED IT. I THINK I MIGHT LIKE HIM BUT YOU KNOW WHAT." I paused and walked up to I pulled him down to my height and said
"I really hope I'm moving on because I'm so fucking tired of you"

His eyes flickered back between both my eyes and I saw a hurt look in his eyes. I regretted everything I said but I was just stuck in the moment of how mad I was at him. I mean he started all this not me and now he's sad and I feel bad.

I got cut off my thoughts by some lips smashing on to mine.

Oh god how I missed those lips, how I missed him. I kissed him back, I was tried of holding my anger at him I wanted him back so much I craved him so bad. I needed him.

His hands made it down to my waist as mine went around his neck while I was on my tippy toes.

Suddenly we stopped kissing. I opened my eyes to see Hayes on top of Ethan punching him.

Everything happened so fast, i just blinked and saw Ethan on top of Hayes. He was punching him really hard. I couldn't move I was so shocked I couldn't do anything when I finally reacted.

I ran over to them and tried to pull Hayes off of Ethan but he wouldn't budge.
Finally Grayson and Ryan showed up and pulled them apart.
Grayson held Ethan as Ryan held Hayes

"HAYES WHAT THE HELL GOT INTO YOU" I asked pretty furious at what he just caused.
"HE WAS KISSING YOU AND YOU'RE MY GIRL I SHOULD FUCKING KILL HIM" he yelled trying to get out of Ethan's grip.

Did Hayes just call me his girl ? All I did was kiss him. It couldn't have been that serious.

Ethan's Pov
I couldn't process the thought that Andrea kissed Hayes. I know she didn't mean that. I just stood there pissed af at what had just happened.

I wanted to talk to Andrea and sort all of this shit out. I missed her. I need her.
I looked almost everywhere for her. I saw something shiny reflect from the light on the floor and it was Andrea's shoes. I saw her standing there while Dustin was about to kiss her. I felt my blood boil up, I couldn't help it I rushed over to Andrea before Dustin kissed her and pulled her over to the backyard.

We had this huge argument and I regretted saying she was a slut but when she said something it hurt me.

"I HAVEN'T KISSED ANY FUCKING GUY ASIDE FROM HAYES TONIGHT AND YOU KNOW WHAT I ACTUALLY ENJOYED IT. I THINK I MIGHT LIKE HIM BUT YOU KNOW WHAT." She paused for a brief moment and continued "I really hope I'm moving on because I'm so fucking tired of you"

I felt my heart break into pieces. I know she didn't mean it. I mean at least that's what I tried telling myself. I wanted to cry at that moment, I looked down at the ground trying not to look at her. But I can't lose her
I just can't. I looked up and kissed her

I thought she was going to pullback but she didn't, I'm glad she didn't. I needed this kiss and I know she needed it too

I wrapped my hands around her waist while hers made it around my neck and suddenly I felt someone grab my shoulder and pull me back. I felt myself hit the floor. I felt punches all over my face I wasn't gonna take this what the hell.

I flipped him over and started punching him pretty hard. I guess wrestling did pay off, I saw Andrea try to pull Hayes off of him and I didn't want to hurt Hayes while she was there because I might hurt him too hard and something might happen to Andrea.

I felt someone pull me off of Hayes, I was about to punch whoever it was until he whispered in my ear
"Calm down bro it's me" he said
Grayson obviously.

I saw Andrea get in between me and Hayes I'm guessing it was in case one of us wanted to run towards each other and she started

"HAYES WHAT THE HELL GOT INTO YOU" she practically yelled
"HE WAS KISSING YOU AND YOU'RE MY GIRL I SHOULD FUCKING KILL HIM" he yelled back.

Hold up what ?! His girl ???  Are they fucking dating ?! WHAT THE FUCK. And yeah right like he could barely even hit me with his punches.
