Mitch's POV
Journal entry #1
I'm sitting at this table alone, as usual. People are whispering about me, as usual. I know what your thinking. Mitch it's the first day of school. Why aren't you sitting with someone?Well I'll tell you why I'm not sitting with anyone. I'm not sitting with anyone because I don't belong here. Where do I belong? This is my journal filled with rants. If I don't have anyone to talk to I might as well write it down. It's funny isn't it how the human body can indicate when something stupid like me is near them. For example, the popular group. The first time they saw me they were peeing themselves with laughter. There's one popular girl that's always caught my eye.
Kirstin Maldonado. The head cheerleader. She's gorgeous and way out of my league. And her boyfriend, Jeremy Lewis would probably best me up in seconds. I'm a theatre nerd. A huge one too. So there is no way I will ever get a girlfriend. It's funny how the popular kids can be so self centred. It's like they have to be perfect and amazing. I bet some of them are just faking it for the attention. Now that's low.
Well it looks like my rant for the day is over. Time to tick another day off of my list."What are you writing about?" I looked up to see Kirstin. The Kirstin Maldonado in front of me.
"Hey Kirstie!" One of the popular boys said, "why don't you punch him. I forgot to this morning." With that Kirstie got up and faced me. "I'm sorry," she whispered before punching me hard. It was the usual. I quickly picked up my stuff and ran towards the bathroom to get rid of my now bloody nose. I then headed to math class, late of course but I'm always late so Ms. Mayan didn't mind.once math class was over I ran out of class as quickly as I could. Than Jeremy tripped me causing me to get a nasty cut on my chin.
"Loser," Jeremy said kicking me before walking away. I groaned as I got up. I than ran home before anyone else decided to beat me up and entered my house quietly.
"It's about time you got home." My mom said folding her arms and facing me. My father moved out a couple of years ago. And ever since than my mother has decided to blame everything on me. Because to her, I'm a monster. A monster of which she can't get rid of.
"I'm sorry mom it's ju-" my mother interrupted me angrily,
"let me guess. I'm sorry mom I got beaten up at school again. Yeah sure like anyone would ever believe that." I than saw my younger sister Jenna walk behind my mother. My mother faced her and calmly said, "sweetheart your brother and I are having a conversation would you mind going for just a second?" My sister nodded while looking at me worriedly. I mentally reassured her that everything was alright before facing my mom again.
"Listen I'm sorry that I'm late. I'll try to be on time next time." I said. My mother laughed dryly before saying, "yeah right. Good luck with that. I can't wait to hand you to your father tomorrow." She's always been this way to me. Not before father moved out but after. She's always kept Jenna safe, but not me. I checked my Twitter account only to notice the usual cyber bullying. I sighed and closed my laptop. Then I thought about today. How Kirstie said sorry right before she punched me. It still made no sense. With all of the emotions in my head I decided to go for a walk. I put on my hood so no one would see me then I snook out of my room through my window. I ran too the park with my journal and pencil in my hands. I found my secret hide out and sat there thinking about my daily question. Then I found one.
