The morning sunlight filtered through the university courtyard as students bustled around, chatting and hurrying to their classes. Among them, Gaeul walked through the hallways with her bag slung over one shoulder, except there was something noticeably different today.
Sion was glued to her side. Quite literally.
His arms were wrapped securely around her waist as he walked half a step behind, chin resting on her shoulder. It had been like this since she met him at the campus gates, and despite her half-hearted attempts to shake him off, he had refused to let go. Seems like the potion had not worn off yet.
"Sion," she sighed, readjusting her bag. "Can't you at least walk beside me like a normal person?"
"Nope," he mumbles against her shoulder. "I like it here."
"You're impossible," she muttered, shaking her head, but she didn't push him away this time. If he wanted to be like this, then fine. Let him.
As they neared the campus café, two familiar figures were already seated at their usual table. Wonbin, Sion's best friend, was dramatically leaning against Yejun, his girlfriend as she absentmindedly scrolled through her phone.
"Morning, lovebirds," Wonbin greeted lazily before freezing mid-sip of his coffee. His eyes locked onto Sion still attached to Gaeul, and an evil grin spread across his face. "Well, well, well. What do we have here?"
Yejun raised a brow, glancing up from her phone. "Okay... That's weird."
Sion ignored them, sighing contently as he snuggled closer to Gaeul. "You smell nice," he mumbled.
Wonbin nearly choked on his drink. "Excuse me?! Since when did you become like this?" He pointed accusingly. "I thought we agreed—I'm the princess of this group, not you!"
Gaeul rolled her eyes, dropping her bag onto the seat. "Don't ask me. He's been like this since this morning."
Wonbin smirked. "This is a rare opportunity... I must document it."
Before Sion could protest, Wonbin whipped out his phone and started taking rapid photos. "Look at this! The cold, PDA-hating Sion has finally joined my side! Yejun, I've won!"
Yejun, sipping her iced latte, gave him a deadpan look. "You're seriously making a competition out of this?"
"Of course," Wonbin said, flipping through his photos. "For the past four years, I have been mocked, mocked for being too clingy with my girlfriend. But now, the mighty Oh Sion has fallen. Oh, how the tables have turned."
Sion groaned, burying his face into Gaeul's shoulder. "Wonbin, please shut up."
"Nope! Not when I have the high ground."
Gaeul laughed, finally giving in and patting Sion's head. "Honestly, I don't even care anymore. If he wants to be attached to me all day, let him."
Yejun crossed her arms. "But seriously, what's up with him? He's never this clingy."
Gaeul smirked. "Let's just say karma bit him back."
Wonbin gasped dramatically. "Ooooh, there's a story behind this, isn't there?"
Sion groaned louder. "Gaeul, don't."
She just grinned mischievously. "Long story short... he may have accidentally dosed himself with one of his own 'secret ingredients.'"
Silence.
Then, Wonbin threw his head back and laughed so hard he almost fell off his chair. "Oh, this is gold. This is the best day of my life."
Sion let out a defeated sigh as Gaeul just smiled, letting her clingy boyfriend do whatever he wanted. It was going to be a long day, but honestly? She didn't mind one bit.

Later, at the cafeteria, the group gathered around a larger table, their trays of food placed down on the table as they settled in. Gaeul sat beside Yejun, who was lazily stirring her drink, while Sion refused to let go of her arm even as he ate. Wonbin, obviously enjoying the teasing today, leaned forward with an amused grin.
"Sion, buddy," he drawled, spearing a piece of chicken with his fork. "Are you sure you're not secretly a lost puppy? Because at this point, I'm starting to think Gaeul accidentally adopted you."
Sion shot him a glare, but it held no heat. "Shut up."
"No, no, I'm serious," Wonbin continued, waving his fork around. "You used to hate when people even so much as held hands in public. Now look at you. Completely attached. Gaeul, are you feeding him next?"
Gaeul chuckled. "If he asks nicely."
Sion pouted dramatically, leaning his head against her shoulder. "Gaeul, will you feed me?"
Wonbin gasped and clutched his chest in disgust. "WHO IS THIS MAN?"
Yejun finally sighed, rubbing her temple. "Wonbin, stop screaming."
"I CAN'T," Wonbin shouted, standing up slightly. "This is the biggest scandal of the year!"
Sion groaned. "You are literally embarrassing me in front of my own girlfriend."
"She's been dealing with you all day, she already knows," Wonbin retorted, shoving a spoonful of rice into his mouth. "I'm just making it entertaining."
Gaeul simply smiled, patting Sion's arm as if to say, 'It's okay, let him have his fun.' It wasn't often that Wonbin could make fun of Sion since he was always the victim to everyone's teasing. Let the man have his day today.
Yejun sighed, finishing off the last of her drink. "You realize you're just as bad, right? You cling to me 24/7."
Wonbin gasped again. "That's different! I was born to be spoiled. Sion? Sion was born to suffer in his cold, touch-repelling ways!"
Sion groaned louder. "I hate you."
"No, you love me," Wonbin corrected. "But not as much as you apparently love Gaeul today."
Gaeul let out a small laugh, and Sion just buried his face into her shoulder once again, completely giving up. At this rate, the potion might never wear off, but honestly? Maybe it wasn't so bad after all.

imagine if Ningning, Eunae, and Haruka was here to witness this as well WRWRWRW, Sion wouldn't hear the end of it. Too bad they all got separated when they started university. Tbh, Wonbin's teasing isn't as bad as Ningning's HAHAHA. She would've just laughed at his face and tease Gaeul 24/7. I could imagine Haruka just saying 'ew' and just judge him in silence. I'm enjoying watching Yejun be tired of her boyfriends antics HAHAHAH.
