Ashley's POV

I must of gone to heaven or something because the feeling in my stomach made me fly up into the clouds. I was filled with happiness and joy that made me feel as light as a feather. I swear I am on cloud nine right now.

All because of the beautiful man snuggled into me.

After a long and sappy confession on my part, I crawled into the uncomfortable bed with Andy, avoiding the wires of course and held him close as he fell asleep. I would have fallen asleep too but I'm too happy to sleep. I'm too happy to do anything but fawn over my newly aquired boyfriend.

I swear I am gonna make sure he is treated like a King and I'm gonna be the best boyfriend I can be to him because he deserves it. He deserves so much more than me but for some unknown reason he picked me, and I don't want to let him down. I've let down so many people before but the thought of letting Andy down is by far my worst fear. I don't want him to be hurting at all.

I'm gonna make him so happy and I'm going to help him get better because he would do the same for me. I've already got a date planned and I hope he enjoys it because I know I will. Anything involving him will make me happy. Cheesy I know but I really don't care. I love him and I want everyone to know it.

A knock at the door brings me out of my thoughts.

"Is everything alright in here?" The nurse asked, peeking around the door.

I nod, smiling happily. She smiles back politely before entering the room quietly.

"Can you give me an update on how he is doing?" I ask, staring at Andy worriedly.

Even just a slim difference could lead to drastic changes being made. If he gets worse he might have to go on more drugs and that means more wires attached and if he gets ill he might not be allowed to see anyone. He is truly fragile. I can't take any risks.

"He seems more relaxed than before, which is a good thing because he was so tense it could have led to more difficulties. His breathing is steady and the machine isn't picking up any drastic changes in its pattern so I would say just now he is perfectly fine. If he struggles to breathe or the machine starts beeping, call for a doctor quickly. That shouldn't happen but just in case." She told me after examining the machines.

"Do you think he will be allowed to leave soon?" I ask.

"If he improves the next few months then I don't see why not." She smiled.

I smile at Andy. Only a few months to go and you could be free from this hospital. Only a few more months, Andy!

"You guys make an adorable couple by the way." The nurse grinned before saying goodbye.

We do make an adorable couple now that she mentioned it. The Deviant and the Prophet. The rebel and the hero.

But in the end, are just Andy and Ashley. Two best friends who fell in love...
