Chapter 17

After everyone saw Jisung laughing and smiling, they felt an instant sense of relief. Felix had worried them too much.

They all walked in around 1, giving them time to listen to Minho and Jisung tell them what happened. After getting up to date on what happened, they put on a movie to watch altogether. It was almost 5 when Changbin complained about his empty stomach. They all agreed it would be best to get food from the cafeteria, but Jisung wanted Felix to stay with him since he "didn't want to get up."

"Okay, tell me the truth, I know you're dying to get out of this bed," Felix asked as the door shut.

"SPILL. THE. TEA. BITCH!!" Jisung exclaimed, clapping between each word.

"I don't know what you mean," Felix laughed standing awkwardly. Jisung looked at his best friend who was looking around the room as if he had no updates on his relationship with Changbin.

"So what's up with the situationship between you and Binne? I could see you guys walking in holding hands. Not to mention the subtle flirting between you guys when we were watching that movie.' Jisugn asked, wiggling his eyebrows.

"WELL. If you insist that you HAVE to know," Felix started, "Basically..."

Last night

"Working a double has to be one of the most tiring things to do on the planet," Changbin groaned as he threw himself belly-first on the bench in the backroom.

"I know right? I'm exhausted." Chan said, sitting next to his friend and patted him on the back. "Let's hurry up so we can sleep in our own beds."

Changbin groaned again, sitting up and untying his apron with Chan. The two boys packed up all of their things and were on their way out when they heard their names.

A girl yelled from the office sounding urgent. "Binnie, Channie Oppa! Come here!"

The two looked at each other and started walking to the office.

"Think this is about the guy we kicked out?" Changbin asked.

"Nah, your parents would have asked about that hours ago," Chan answered, opening the door to reveal Changbin's Mom and sister.

"Hi guys! we were just about to head home, what is this about?" Changbin asked, hanging his bag on a chair. Chan sat down, putting his bag on the floor next to him.

"Well, look..." His sister stated, turning the screen monitor to reveal a recording from their cameras outside.

She hit the play button and after a few seconds, a boy walks out of the back door.

"Is that Jisung?" Chan asked, curious as to why they are showing their friend feeding a stray cat on a surveillance video.

"Just watch," Chanbin's mother ordered.

They watched the video, Changbin sat down when the video showed a man approaching their friend.

They continued watching as the events unfolded and his mom switched to a different camera showing what happened after Jisung ran out of the alley.

Chan spaced out after the footage ended, wondering how something like this could happen.  Changbin immediately tightened his fists.

"Where is that man," Changbin demanded.

"The guy left a few minutes after Lee Know snapped his wrist," Changbin's mom stated, turning the monitor back to her.  "We didn't want to show you two until your shift ended."
