Alexia's P.O.V
I'm in a car with Mahogany going home. I don't wanna go yet. Marilyn, James, Steven, Louisa, and Kanesia are gonna asks questions and I don't wanna tell them about the bullying stuff.
They might tell dad and I don't want him knowing cuz we both love each other so much and I don't want him to know I hurt myself. I don't want him to be mad or disappointed.
"Do you wanna get off at the gate or you door?" Mahogany asks.
"You can go the door." I say
"Ok. What's the gate password?"
"I'm not telling. Roll your window down." I say and get out of the car and go to the drivers side.
"Here, give me your hand." I say and Mahogany gives me her hand.
"Put it on the pad." I say and she does it.
The scan soon says "put in password." The password is: 71876288
"Ok, say your name." I say to Mahogany.
"Mahogany...." She says
"O-"
"Hold on. I wanna change it." She says
"Ok. Say whatever. But you have to remember what it is. Or you can't cross the gate." I say.
"Ok..."
"Mahogany Lox!!" She says out loud.
"Ok. Perfect." I say and get back in the car.
"So now put your hand in the pad and say Mahogany Lox." I say
She puts her hand on the pad and says "Mahogany Lox." Then the gate opens.
"Wow that's so cool!!!" Mahogany said
"Yeah, but it gets old when you have to do it every time you wanna get inside." I say.
"So is my hand print always gonna be there?" She asks.
"Yeah, but you can't just like sneak in here cuz there's cameras and you can only get through the gates when your either with me or my sisters or my dad." I say
"Dang it. What if I pick you up for a party or something." She asks
"Just tell Charles and Carl, the guards by the gate, that your Mahogany Lox and ask for me. Then they'll ask if I know you and blah blah blah. Then they'll let you in." I say
"Then why did you add my hand on the gate thingy when I can't come in without you?"
"The guards sorta control the gate. Like if they don't see me or my sisters or the people who work here in the car, they won't let the gate open... But if they know you, they'll let you in...maybe."
"Oh. We'll see you later Alexia." She says as I get out of the car.
"Yeah, see you later... I hope. And thanks for the ride!!!" I say as Mahogany drives away as I get inside
"What are you doing here so early." Louisa asks.
"Uhh... School went out early." I lied
"Really, cuz the school called and said you were brought to the hospital." She confronts me.
"Oh, you know about that."
"Of course I know about that. So what really happened Alexia."
"Nothing! I don't wanna talk about it!!" I yell
"Tell me or I'll call the school and ask." She says
"I'll tell you at dinner or something, when Kanesia is here." I say
"Fine, but you have to tell us the truth when she's here."
"Ok. Fine. Call me down when she's here!" I yell while going upstairs to my room.
*A Couple hours later.*
"Alexia!!!!! It's time for dinner!!!" Marilyn calls which wakes me up.
I walk to my bathroom and rinse my face. Then I head downstairs.
"What are we having for dinner?" I ask Marilyn while I walk down the stairs
"Mac n cheese with an option with broccoli and grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup!" She says
"Ok." I say taking my seat.
Marilyn, James, Steven, and other people that work for us eat with us. We start eating and it's pretty silent for a while. Everyone else is done but me, Kanesia, Louisa, and Marilyn... Good.
"Alexia, why were you in the hospital?" Louisa questions. Damn it!! I hoped she would forget.
"Wait, she was at the hospital?" Kanesia and Marilyn ask.
"Uhh... I don't know how to explain." I say
"C'mon Lexi, just tell us. We're your sisters and Marilyn is like our mom so just please tell us." Louisa says
I didn't say anything. I pulled my sleeve up so I'd show them the cuts.
"Here it goes." I say as I show them my scars.
"Goodness gracious! Why Alexia, why?" Marilyn says
"Why would you cut? When did you start cutting?" Kanesia asks.
I didn't say anything.
"Alexia, tell us why you started!" Louisa yelled.
"Well... There's these guys at.... school w-who b-b-bully me." I cried.
"Thanks Marilyn." I said as she gave something to wipe my tears with.
"Why would you cut though?" Kanesia asks.
"Cuz they've b-bullied me f-for so long and I c-c-couldn't take it a-anymore."
"How long?!?!" Louisa asks
"S-s-since 5th g-gr-grade." I stutter
"That long and you didn't tell us?!" They all say
"I-I'm sorry. I... I d-didn't know what you g-guys might do i-if I told."
"I'm calling dad and tell him about this." Louisa says and calls him
*a couple minutes later*
"Dad said that your gonna go to New Jersey with him the next time he goes which is during Christmas vacation or sooner. So you'll have to wait till then." Louisa said.
"But that's like 4 months away!! I can't last that long!" I yell
"Yeah, but dad is doing the best he can to help. You just have to wait till then. He said that there's a family in New Jersey that dad knows that will let you stay with them." She says.
"Ok. So I just have to suffer till then." I say sadly and run upstairs crying.
"Alexia! Don't be like that, wait!" I hear Louisa say, but I ignore it.
(Haha!! Who do you think the family in New Jersey is gonna be? The first person to guess it right has the next chapter dedicated to them!!! I don't even know if you guys are gonna comment! But you really should!!!! *Hint: they're twins that live, we'll used to live in New Jersey*
