Alexia's P.O.V

I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. Oh no, I forgot I had school! I don't wanna go! Everybody is going to talk about me going to the hospital and cutting!! I don't want that. I mean, no one wants that right!!

I drag myself out of my bed and pick out just a regular blue long sleeved shirt that says "Stay a dreamer!" to hide my cuts, my black skinny jeans, and my red vans.

I don't know why I picked this shirt. Well, it was the only long sleeved shirt I had in blue. Like I can't stay a dreamer!!! My biggest dream is to become famous, but for now it's to stopped getting bullied! But that's not gonna happen so I'm just gonna wait until it does come true so I can focus on trying to become famous!

I take a small shower and brush my teeth. Then put just a little make up on to hide my ugly, natural self. I decide to keep my hair down. I grab my backpack and head downstairs.

"Good morning Alexia. Did you sleep ok? Are you ok?" Marilyn asks

"Morning Marilyn. Yeah and I'm fine. Where's Louisa and Kanesia? I wanna talk to them." I ask

"They haven't come down yet, so you should wait for them. I'm pretty sure they'll be down in a couple minutes." She says

"Ok. What's for breakfast?" I ask

"Scrambled eggs and bacon. And yes, there's some turkey bacon for you. I don't get it, why don't you like regular beacon?" She asks

"I don't like pork. Pigs eat their own poop that why I don't like pork. And you know me so well Marilyn. I'm happy you remembered that I don't like regular beacon." I say while grabbing a plate of food.

I take a couple bites and then I get a text from Mahogany.

(A=Alexia and M=Mahogany)

M: Hey, I'm outside your gate and the  people there won't let me in.

A: It doesn't matter. I'll just go to you

M: ok

A: yeah... I'll be there in a couple minutes.

"Well Kanesia and Louisa are taking so long, I'm just gonna talk to them after school. So bye Marilyn! I'll see you after school." I say as I give her my plate and walk out the door.

I walk to Mahogany's car and we drive off.

"So why'd you pick me up? I'm not trying to be rude, but you don't usually pick me up so why?" I ask

"I just wanted to know if you were ok. And I don't know, I just felt like it. So what did your sisters say about you coming home early?" She asks

"Uhh.... Bad news."

"What is it?"

"The next time my dad comes to visit us is durning Christmas break or sooner. So when he leaves to go back to New York or New Jersey, I.... I go with him." I say as tears fall down my face

"Oh my gosh Lexi!!! Why can't you stay, just not go to school? Cuz I'm gonna miss you so much and I'd be alone with Emerson. It won't be us three anymore. I'd just be me and Emerson!" Mahogany says sadly
