Chapter 13

*3 months later*

(Sorry about the long time change. I just wanna skip to this part already)

Alexia's POV

"James!" Marilyn yelled throughout the house. "Can you grab their bags and drop them off?"

"I'll do it. James is in his room and I asked James if I could do I get to say goodbye to this one." Steven smiled grabbing my bags and my dad's bags and walking out the door.

"Thank you Steven and tell James thanks too later on." Dad smiled at him as Steven walked out the door. "okay I'll be in the car so hugs?" Dad said opening up his arms and Louisa and kanesia hugged him. "Okay, I'll see you guys soon. You got 5 minutes before we go, Alexia." He smiled walking out the front door.

"Hey Marilyn, thanks for being there for me. You acted like a mom towards me and probably towards Kanesia and Louisa too. Thank you for everything. You've taught me a lot and have done so much for this family. And you've helped shape me to what I am today and I'm gra-ateful for t-that." My voice starting to crack cuz I starting to tear up while hugging her.

"Thank you Alexia, I'll miss you a lot and I'll see you soon." She smiled also tearing up. "Excuse me." She smiled exiting the room, I bet she was going to her room to cry. I'm really going to miss her.

"Hugs?" I asked opening my arms just like dad did with Kanesia and Louisa. Louisa and Kanesia both tackled me with hugs "I'm going to miss you two." I said

"Yeah, same kid." Louisa said

"Be safe out there and call us when you need help with anything." Kanesia smiled

"Yeah, especially with boys." Louisa added in chuckling

"Okay. I should be going, dad's impatient. But I'll see you guys soon, don't worry." I smiled for pulling away from the hug.

"Is it too late to say goodbye?" James asked walking up and giving me a hug.

"In really gonna miss you, James. You acted like a father figure towards all of us when our dad is gone and I'm thankful for that. And thanks for everything you've done for me. I promise I won't forget you." I reassured him cuz for the past 3 months he would always be like 'you won't forget me when you leave, right?'

We pulled away from our hug and as soon as we did, we heard a honk from the car. "I've better get going." I smiled and whispering "bye" as I waved closing the door. I walked into the car and sat down. I sighed and went on my phone.

"Look, I know that you're sad leaving your friends and moving to a new state. But this is what is best for you, and I'll be closer to you. Also, the family I've met is really nice and they're welcoming. I'm sure you'll like them."

"Yeah, I'm actually quite happy to move to a new state though. I've always wanted to be a new student somewhere." I chuckled. "Besides, I'm sure I'll be fine there." I smiled. I was really going to miss my life here, but I want a new fresh start. Even though I'm leaving Mahogany and Emerson here, I think I'll make new friends there. And if you're wondering about what happened to Luke and I, we're Gucci (good/cool) now. I've talked to him about the whole situation with calum and I think we're okay. I've already said goodbye to Luke, Calum, Mahogany, and Emerson. And even some of the boys in Taylor's gang. I'm not going to lie, I'm actually going to miss them all, even Taylor. They were mean to me all these years, but the thought of me having to put up with them made me think that I actually am a strong person and that I could deal with people hating on me.

"Lexi, we're already at the airport." Dad said snapping me out of my thoughts. Wow, I've been over thinking about things a lot, like more than usual.

Steven was bringing our bags down and my dad was helping him. I got out of the car and all our bags were on a cart thing. I decided not to bring all my clothes cuz all my clothes are for warm weather and New Jersey is most likely colder than LA. And I want to shop for new clothes there.

"Okay, so I guess this is a see you later moment, miss Alexia. I'll see you soon." Steven smiled.

"Thanks for everything, Steven. I'll see you soon." I said hugging him and he made his way to the driver's side in the car. I'll miss his rides to school lmao.

"Lets check our bags in." Dad said pushing the car. We checked in my bags and I just hand my backpack on. We went through security and waited at the gate.

I feel like I only update once a year. Again, I'm not inspired so I get lazy and bored with this story. I'm really sorry for saying that I would update, but I haven't and ugh I don't know where I'm going with this story anymore.
