X Drake x Reader „In the Museum"

In this Modern AU, you're a student obsessed with dinosaurs and everything around them, while X Drake is madly obsessed with you.

„Alright you guys, we arrived. Please get out of the bus and stay on the sidewalk until I finish my head count!"
Y/N's teacher yelled over the loud chatters of the class.

Excitement washed through the (h/c) haired girl as she looked outside the bus window and admired the huge paleontological museum. Her fascination for dinosaurs came from the two older brothers she grew up with.

But while her brothers grew out of that phase years ago, Y/N stayed a Dino nerd. Even as a teenager she kept her room full with dinosaur posters, plushies and figures.

Her bookshelves were filled with encyclopedias about the different eras and classes of dinosaurs and other creatures of that time.

She knew more about the world before humans than all the subjects she had in school.

So in conclusion:
She was absolutely and utterly captured by the era of giant lizards.
In her eyes there was no greater chapter of earth's history than the Mesozoic Period.

"Alright class, when we enter please stay close to me and our guide and don't touch anything! Remember we're still in a museum so be respectful and quiet. If you have a question please raise your hand and wait for the guide to get to you. After the tour you can go home on your own."

Y/N listened to her teacher with one ear, already planning how to spend her afternoon. She'd probably stay in the museum for a while before going back home.

Following the others into the huge entrance hall, Y/N noticed Drake staring at her intensely. Nervously she gave him a shy smile and turned to face the museum's guide.

"Hello class! I'm Silvers Rayleigh and I'll be your guide today. To make the tour more exciting and interesting I planned a little treasure hunt. Please form groups of four for that."

Y/N looked around herself. Almost everyone already got into groups.
Where should she join?

"Hey Y/N-ya!! Come here, we need you!" Law called her over.
The girl stared at the weird group he was in.
Besides Law there were Eustass Kid and... Drake.

Law and Y/N usually sat together in the school library for studies since they both were together classes.
Kid used to be in her chemistry class but was kicked out due to his bad temper and the fact that he almost blew up the classroom during an experiment.

Drake on the other hand... always seemed a bit weird.
Sometimes Y/N caught him staring at her. Other times he'd "accidentally" bump into her in the hallway and help her collect her books from the floor.

All in all she has never been sure about what he exactly wanted from her.
Would he act weird around her again?

"Y/N!? Come on girl, we need you!" Nami's voice echoed through the hall.
The (h/c) haired girl turned around surprised. Enthusiastically Nami waved her over.

She, Robin and Vivi were standing a bit further away from the other groups.
Y/N didn't hesitate.
"I'm sorry Law but I'll join Nami and the others. I hope you understand."
