We were boarding the Hogwarts Express, Mrs. Malfoy forced Draco and I to hold hands so we wouldn't get lost. I hated the idea of it and refused, but she told me she would send galleons if I held his hand for only a few moments.

Right when we entered the train, I let go of his hand immediately, wiping my hands on my skirt and giving him a nasty look.

We chose a compartment in the far back. My sisters sat in their own compartments with their friends, I don't know why they couldn't have just sat with me so that I wouldn't have to sit with Draco. But they decided they would would rather sit with their friends instead of their own sister I guess .

I pulled out my muggle Gameboy that my Aunt Meryll bought me for Christmas when I was nine. Right when I pulled it out, Draco snatched it from me.

"Hey, give it back!" I reached out my arms, trying to grab my Gameboy. Draco laughed and held it out of my reach.

After a while, I gave up and sat back in my seat.

"Find then. Since you want it so bad, you can have it for ten minutes."

"What? But ten minutes isn't enough-"

"Ten minutes or nothing," I interrupted.

"Twenty minutes!" he declared, his eyebrows furrowed and his expression hardening.

"Five," I responded with the same hardening expression and tone.

"You know what? Fine, you can have it back then. It's not like I would want to play with some stupid muggle toy," he shoved the Gameboy back in my hand and turned away from me.

My expression quickly changed into one of shock, but also joy when he handed it back.

Well that worked well

guys ik its not that good 😔 i didnt know what else to write so i js came up with wtv came first in my mind. and ik these chapters have been short, ik i said it would be like vignettes, but i didnt mean for them to be this short 😭 but like i hope youre still enjoying the book so far 😁
