The wedding of Yun Mi-hee and Kim Rian was the most anticipated event of the year. But to Mi-hee, it was more than that—it was a day she had once thought would never come. A day she had dreamed of in quiet moments but never allowed herself to believe in.

And yet, here she was.

The grand hall of an exclusive island resort was bathed in a soft golden glow. Crystal chandeliers dripped from the high ceiling, their warm light reflecting off the thousands of white and blush-colored roses that adorned every surface. The aisle stretched long and elegant, covered in a path of delicate petals.

Outside, beyond the towering glass windows, the ocean waves rolled in a rhythmic lull, the sunset painting the sky in soft pastels of pink and orange.

It was perfect.

It was them.

Rian stood at the altar, dressed in a custom black tuxedo, a silk pocket square tucked perfectly into place. His hair was styled just enough to look effortlessly undone, but the real giveaway of his nerves was the way his fingers twitched by his side.

Min-jun, his best man, smirked, leaning in. “Relax, Romeo. She’s not running away.”

Rian shot him a look. “Shut up.”

Hera, who had been fixing Jae-i’s dress nearby, overheard and giggled. “I don’t know, she does like making you suffer.”

Rian groaned, running a hand down his face. “I swear to god, I am already stressed.”

Kang-ha, standing beside him as a groomsman, clapped a hand on his shoulder. “Don’t pass out. It would be embarrassing.”

Rian glared at him. “I hate all of you.”

But none of it mattered. Because the second the music shifted, every sound, every thought, every distraction faded into nothing.

And then—

She appeared.

Mi-hee stood at the entrance, her heart pounding in her chest.

She had never been one for fairy tales, but at this moment, she felt like she was living in one.

Her dress was a masterpiece—delicate off-the-shoulder sleeves, intricate floral lace trailing down the bodice, flowing into a long, dreamy train. The silk hugged her waist just right before cascading down like liquid moonlight.

She held a bouquet of white peonies and baby’s breath, simple yet elegant. A soft, sheer veil framed her face, but nothing could hide the emotions brimming in her eyes.

And when she looked up, meeting Rian’s gaze at the altar—she knew.

This was home.

Her brother, Min-jun, stood beside her, offering his arm.
