6. Girl's Night Out
Xavier shoveled the hay into the stables as he sighed. It has been one long, tiring week for Xavier. He was glad to be working but still was worried about Lily. "Come in and get some lunch, Xavier!" Mrs. Simon yelled.
"I'm coming,ma'am!" He responded and jogged to the house. Xavier had taken an extreme liking to the Simon family considering they treated him like their son instead of an employee.
"You must be as sweaty as a sinner in church. Here is some sweet tea darling." Mrs. Simon smiled and handed him the glass. Xavier kissed her cheek. "You're a doll, Mrs. Simon." He told her. Xavier got out his phone and text Lily.
X: Hey....how are you doing?
L: I'm fine dad. -.- that's who you're acting like.
X: You're only suppose to call me daddy in the bedroom ;)
L: You are such a pervert!!!!
X: See you when I get off work. Bye. Be safe. Do not burn my house down.
L: Too late ^_^ bye bye
Xavier shook his head at her behavior. She was such a child. Things had been going good for them lately. They have gotten pretty close. Lily finally started letting him hug her and kiss her cheek. It was quite nice.
"How is Lily?" Mrs. Simon asked.
Xavier smiled as the elderly woman set a plate with two sandwiches. "She is doing very well, Mrs. Simon. Lily actually goes back to work Monday."
"That is good."
"Yes ma'am. How are you?"
She smiled and sat on the other side of the table. "I'm doing well. I get dizzy from time to time. But other than that, I feel fine."
Xavier kissed the woman's cheek as he stood up. "I'm glad." He said as he washed his dish.

Lily laid on the couch watching the television like she has been doing all day. For some reason, she felt down. She didn't know why - it just seemed like everything was crashing around her. A cardoor shut and she realized Xavier was home. With a sigh, Lily turned on her side.
"Lily!" Xavier called out but stopped when he seen Lily curled up on the couch. "Are you feeling well, Lils?" He asked pressing the back of his head against her forehead.
Lily shrugged looking at him. "You don't have a fever." He muttered and looked into her dull eyes. Xavier picked her up bridal style and carried her upstairs. He sat her on the bathroom counter and started running the bath water. Xavier added some bubble bath then stripped her naked ignoring her protests. Sitting her in the bathtub, Xavier walked downstairs leaving her alone in the bathroom.
She just sunk into the bubbles, smiling. It was relaxing. Her mind drifted to the thoughts that had started recently bothered her. What if Xavier got tired of dealing with her and decided to leave? That one thought made her smile dissolve quickly. Was she getting feelings for Xavier? Of course, she liked the way he was always around. But the thought of their relationship being more than friends again made her nervous.
Xavier walked back into the bathroom and sat on the toilet. "We are going out tonight to a local bar. Your mom is babysitting tge twins. You and Kennedy are going to hang out while Carter and I have a few beers." He told his blushing wife.
"Why?" She asked.
Xavier smiled. "Because you need out this house. It will relieve some of the stress before you go to work again."
Lily looked at the wall infront of her then back at Xavier. His brown hair was in his face that was buried in his hands. She reached out and put her hand on his knee. Xavier opened his eyes and looked at her. "Yes?"
"Are you okay, X-man?" She asked.
His eyes widened. "Y-You just called me X-man." Xavier muttered. She looked at him confused. "Should I not?" Lily questioned."That was my nickname you called me in highschool. You said it was because I reminded you off the wolverine." He told her.
Her face was plastered with confusion. Had she remembered? The name just slipped off her tongue. It shocked her as well as Xavier. Maybe she was slowly starting to get her memory back.

Kennedy leaned against the bar with Lily. "So you called him X-man? Does that mean you're remembering things?" She asked her bestfriend.
Lily shrugged. "I hope so."
"You like him huh?" Kennedy smiled.
"I...I think so....." Lily whispered as a blush crawled to her cheeks.
Kennedy smiled again and hugged her bestfriend. "I figured as much." She admitted. Lily just hugged Kennedy back.
Two guys walked over and began flirting with the two girls. Kennedy told them that her husband just got out of jail and was willing to go back. Stupid outsiders, Lily laughed to herself. The guys weren't from this town otherwise they would have known both of the girls amd their husbands. Like Lily said before, it was a very small town.
"What about you cutie?" One of the guys asked Lily as he gripped her behind.
She gasped and pushed his hand. "I am married!" Lily told them and the guy shrugged.
"People cheat everyday. Tell me cutie, where is your husband now?"
"He is right here." A thundering voice came from behind the guy. Lily gasped seeing a furious Xavier behind the man. He grabbed the guy by the shoulder and spun him around. Xavier grinned and punched the guy in the nose knocking him out.
Xavier grabbed Lily's arms and dragged her to their vehicle. She looked up at him and shocked. "I don't care if you remember me or not, you are still my wife." He told her, his anger skyrocketing. "I have been more than kind and patient, but I will not tolerate other men!"
"He flirted with me and I told him that I was married!" She shouted at him. His eyes widened as he looked at her.
"I am sorry,Lily Anne." He whispered cupping her cheeks.
Xavier leans down and captures her lips. Lily stood there shocked but finally gave in and kissed him back. When he pulled back, he smiled. "Dammit, I've been wanting to do that for a month."
