9:Explanations:

Lily stared at the diner door a few moments after Xavier had left. She wanted answers. Who was that girl? Why was she with Xavier? What were they laughing about?

"I am sure there is an explanation, Lils." Derek tried to reassure her.

Lily stood up and nodded, "I plan on finding out."

She got into her car and drove home, not caring about the speed limit. Lily was blinded by the tears that she tried to fight. Wiping her eyes, she swarved into her driveway and stormed into the house.

Why was he doing this to her? He pretended like he laughed her more than anything, just to be seen with her. How long has he been seeing her? Was he even really working? Or spending all his time and money on her? The phone rang causing Lily to jump.

"Lils?"

Xavier. "Yes?"

"Are you feeling alright?" He asked.

"Yes. What's up?"

"Well,I'm going to be late. I'm bringing a friend to the airport."

"Okay. Bye." She muttered before hanging up. Bringing a friend to the airport? More like your lover, Lily thought sourly.

Lily poured herself a glass of Jack Daniels and shot it down her throat. She didn't like feeling this pain. So what if she couldn't remember. But he had made a vow to her. And he was breaking it.

Slowly but surely, Lily had disposed of three bottles of alcohol. Now she laid on the couch with a cigarette inbetween her lips. She was just waiting for him to walk through that door. What was she even going to say? 'Oh, hey, I seen you with a girl. Explain or I will kill you right now.' She laughed at the thought of his facial expression.

Why does this happen after she falls for him?

"Bye Xavier, I had an amazing time."

He smiled down at Cindy. "I am really glad that you did. But I have to get home to the wife now." Xavier told her. She just nodded and grabbed her suitcase. They hugged and exchanged another goodbye.

As Xavier strolled down the highway in his truck, he thought about Lily. He remember when he first met her.

-Flashback-

Xavier walked down the hall of his highschool with his bestfriend, Mark. Today was the day that the freshman came to the highschool for their first days. He was a junior so watching how excited the freshman were was slightly funny.

"Dude, you ready for practice?" Mark asked.

"Yea, let me go get Carter!" Xavier said then jogged over to Carter who was flirting with a freshman.

"Cart, it's time for practice." He said then looked at the red headed girl beside Carter. "Who is this?"

"This is Kennedy, Kennedy this is my buddy Xavier."

He waved at her when he felt something hit his back. More like someone. "I am so so so sorry!" A voice rambled. Kennedy laughed. "And that is my bestfriend, Lily."

"Hi." The blonde girl smiled then tugged on Kennedy's arm. "Can we go now?"

"Yea." Kennedy said then waved at Carter. The two boys watched as the girls walked away.

-Flashback Ends-

Xavier finds himself smiling as he pulls into his driveway. He walked into the house and the smell if cigarettes hit him. "Lily!" He called out.

He didn't expect to be tackled by a half-naked Lily. She was kissing up and down his neck. Her hands began undoing his pants. Xavier stopped her and stared at her. "What the hell Lily?"

"What? Am I not enough anymore?" She yelled.

"What are you talking about?"

"I seen her today! Y'all were at the diner me and Derek was at. How long were you gunna keep it from me?!" Lily yelled. Tired of her yelling, Xavier grabbed her hands and pinned her against the wall. "What in the hell are you talking about?" He asked again.

"I seen the girl...with you. Y'all were laughing." She cried.

"You mean Cindy?" Xavier questioned then laughed. "Baby, that is my cousin. She was only here for a few days and asked if I would take her to the airport. That was it,baby." He explained.

Lily looked up at him and sniffled. "Really?" She whispered. He nodded, "Really. Why would I cheat when I have you?"

"Because I can't remember our past."

Xavier nuzzled his face in the crook of her neck. "I want your future, we already had the past." He whispered against her bare skin. She clench to him the tears still running down her cheeks. "Let's get you cleaned up." He muttered and picked her up bridal style.

Xavier washed her body down with a rag. "You are something else,Lils." He smiled as she leaned against the tub. She groaned and closed her eyes. Lily wrapped her arms around his neck.

"I love you." She muttered before passing out.
