(Two year time skip)
Shinobi guards dragged their captives into the dark underground cell; chained then to the walls and hurriedly left. Though, they made sure to close, lock and seal the door.
The brunette ninja looked over worriedly at his companion, a little blonde boy.
“Naruto, are you okay?”
The blonde nodded. “Yah, I’m okay Iruka-sensei.”
Iruka started to pull at his shackles, but it felt like his energy was being drained. A voice from across the dimly lit room almost made him pee his pants.
“Struggling won’t get you out…” The voice trailed off, but came back with an amused tone. “I guess you haven’t realized whose prisoner you are now.”
Iruka growled at the voice. “Show yourself, who are you?”
A hand reached out of the shadows and dragged into view the body, and face, of a young girl. Short black hair stuck out at odd angles from under her knit cap, and her eyes were coal black, with no pupil or anything.
She propped herself up against a wall and looked them both over. After an extremely long evil pause, she murmured. “I’m known by many names.”
Naruto sweatdropped. “HEY LADY, TELL US YOUR NAME!”
The girl waggled a finger at them. “I wouldn’t yell if I was you, Orochimaru-baka might come to check it out.” She put a finger on her lips. “I’m called Aspen this time around.”
Iruka realized what she had said. “WHAT, this is Orochimaru’s hideout.” He trembled in fear. “I have to get back to the village and report this. But…” he looked over at Naruto.
Aspen narrowed her eyes. “You’re from Konoha, no?”
Naruto nodded. “Yep, Konoha is the best ninja village ever and—.”
Aspen gagged. “Ugh, I guess I have to save you guys, after all, Kyuubi-teme isn’t going to help.” She looked pointedly at Naruto’s stomach. “Are you Kurama-kun?
Iruka scoffed. “Help is probably on its way, an elite team is probably already infiltrating this—.”
Aspen swung her head towards the doorway as the cell door opened and a kunoichi was thrown roughly into the cell. She landed next to Aspen, and the door closed. Aspen eyed her, and noticed that she was trembling. Iruka gasped and whispered worriedly.
“Anko-chan, are you okay?”
Aspen reached over to the kunoichi and recoiled as her hand made contact. “It’s the curse mark. Being so close to Orochimaru-baka has made her curse seal harder to control.
