-- Michael's Pov --
I woke up to Luke spooning me. I looked around and remembered last night. I smiled at the thoughts and looked around for my clothes without waking Luke.
"Finally up?" I heard Luke say making me jump.
"You scared me," I said putting my hands over my face.
"Awww, I'm sorry," he said kissing my hand, "I'll make you feel better."
Luke sat up and crawled on top of me and started to kiss my hand until we heard a knock at the door.
Luke sighed, "Who is it?"
"Your mom," she said, "Can I come in?"
"Yes," I said pushing Luke off of me making him groan.
"About last night," she closed the door and started talking quiet, "Can you boys hold off on the whole couple thing?"
I looked over at Luke's face which worried me. He looked so upset.
"Are you ashamed?" he asked sitting up.
"No, Luke," she said sitting on the edge of the bed, "You have it all wrong."
"Do I? Then lets hear why you wouldn't admit that we are a couple," he said getting angry.
I understood why he was getting angry but he worried me. I crawled over and straddled him between my legs. He was sitting with his legs out and I wrapped mine around his waist and wrapped my arms around his stomach.
"I love you," I whispered in his ear.
"Luke, Michael," she said looking at us, "Ignore me. It was wrong of me to ask you guys to not be you."
I looked at her, "It's fine Miss Hemmings," I said, "You're just scared of their judgment."
"I am," she admitted, "I just don't want them to attack you guys with words and insults."
"I understand mom," Luke sighed, "I'm sorry its not easy having a faggot for a son."
"Luke!" I yelled, "Can you excuse us?"
She nodded and walked out closing the door behind her. I turned towards Luke and stared at him.
"What the hell Luke?" I said louder than I meant.
"I didn't mean for it to come out that way," he said looking at his bracelets.
I moved so I was across from him, "Why would you even say that Luke?"
"I don't know," he sighed.
"Luke, you hate that word. You and me both know what it means and what you meant. What made you say that?" I said trying to look at his eyes.
He sighed, "She called me a faggot to her friends," my jaw dropped. He tried his best not to cry but he couldn't hold it back. I jumped over and hugged him so he could cry in my shoulder.
"I'm so sorry," I said patting his back, "You aren't a faggot. You are Luke. You are an amazing human that I never want to see sad. I love you so much and you deserve the world. I don't know why she said that, but she doesn't realize the pain behind that word."
He continued crying, "Thank you Michael."
"I'm always your shoulder to cry on," I said squeezing him.
After his crying died down and his face wasn't tear stained, we went out with the other.
"Good morning everyone," Luke said smiling.
