--Michael's pov--
"You don't want to be friends with- with the," he sighed bringing his knees to his chest.
"With the what?" I said searching his eyes for the answer.
"With the gayboy," he said putting his head down.
Luke is gay?
"Luke," I said before he cut me off.
"No, it's fine. I better be going anyway," he said walking up to the door, unlocking it.
"Wait, you live here?" I said jumping up.
"Yeah," he sighed.
"Dude, I live right next to you!" I said pointing at my house.
"I know," he said, "I saw you in the window this morning... which makes me sound creepy. I'm sorry, I'll leave."
"No!" I shouted, "Wait, please."
"What?" he said walking inside holding the door.
"Can I come in?" I asked probably being rude.
"Uh, sure," he said gesturing me inside.
"No one is home but if you're uncomfortable with that then we can stay out-" he said before I cut him off.
"Shut up Luke," I said taking his arm and bringing him into a hug, "I don't care if you're gay, straight, bi, trans, or all of the above. You're still Luke and that's what makes you, you."
I knew he started crying again. He hugged me so tight as if he hasn't hugged anyone before.
"Tears of joy?" I asked. He nodded his head making my heart warm up. We hugged in silence for the longest time, but it was comfortable silence. Happiness took over and that's all I felt for those ten minutes. I forgot the world.
"Lukey?" I heard a voice yell. Luke jumped in fear looking towards the door.
"Mom," he said covering his face.
"Lukey?" I laughed but he looked so annoyed, "I'm going to stick to Luke."
He nodded and went over to the couch. He came over and took my arm leading me to the couch.
"You couch, I couch." he said like a caveman. I couldn't help but laugh at his absolute adorableness.
"Who's your friend?" His mother asked as we sat down.
"This is Mi-" he stopped, "wait, you never told me your name. Josh cut you off."
I smiled, "I'm Michael," I said sitting up straight.
"Hi Michael," she said smiling, "Is this your... Luke?"
"No! Sometimes I really want to stop talking, forever," He said sitting back and putting his hands over his face.
"It's fine Luke, my mom asks the same thing all of the time," I laughed.
He looked at me and I smiled. I didn't tell him I was gay. I just liked to hint it.
"You have a kissable face when you're mad," she said walking into the kitchen.
"I agree," I said smiling and getting up to go into the kitchen along with his mother.
"Michael," Luke said following me, "Is there something I don't know about you?"
"You don't know a lot about me," I smiled.
"Well," he said grabbing my arm pulling me up the stairs, "That's going to change."
He led me to his bedroom. All of the posters made me smile. I couldn't feel more at home.
