A vals day gift I remember,
As waters splashed on our love,
And blossomed like petals with fragrance,
An anonymous gift sat at the door of my eyes,
And I could not behold its treasure.
Our love could not be measured
Like the sand on the seashore,
Neither could it knit the bedding on which we lie.
A vals day gift I remember,
It was not in November,
But it is was full of adventures.
A beauty to behold,
And yet full of surprises.
A vals day gift I remember,
One I never grew fonder.
