Hold my hand, hold it like you will never let go, The world is not a safe space, But the man upstairs he's our safe space and confidante. Hold my hand, but don't let go of what you want, Let's strive together, holding each other's hands intertwined, Intertwined with one goal, one focus. Let me hold your hands, So you hold mine, Let me not just be like the others in your circle, I want to be there when life is rosy and cloudy, I want to be there when there's sunshine and rain, I want to be there holding the umbrella and making you feel okay, I want to be there when nothing makes meaning, I want to be there to hold your little bundle of joy, I want to be there through it all, So hold my hand, let's face the world together, Let's jump over hurdles together, Let's cry on each other's shoulder, And crack jokes like cracking a nutshell, Let me hold your hand, This time a little bit more tighter, so I don't let go when my eyes get blurry, Hold my hand, and let's face this together, Even when clouds form and there's no sunshine.
